01 sportsman 400 running issue
Im the new guy trying to figure out an issue with my 01 sportsman 400 thats driving me nuts. Intermittently it will act like its hitting the rev limiter in forward. Throttle can be anywhere from 1/4 to full throttle before it acts up. Some days not a single problem. Other days it will act up all day. The other day not a single issue til the afternoon. Then it would act as if it were bouncing the rev limiter at about half throttle. I could back off slightly and the quad would pick back up and run fine. Dip into the throttle and little more and it would accel. Pin it and it would bounce until i backed way down. Any ideas thanks again.

1994 Polaris Sportsman 400: Oil pump
Hello world, new member that has lurked the forums for a while.
Looking for help/guidance with the following issue:
1994 Polaris Sportsman 400 that likes to use 1L of oil per tank of gas and create blue smoke clouds.
Pulled the oil pump cover off and noticed that at idle the notches do not line up, however, at full throttle they line up.
Adjusted the pump to match up at idle but at WOT it is not even close to lined up. This concerns me that at Idle the oil will be correct however at WOT I will be short on oil.
Attached are pictures of the pump lined up at full throttle and what it looks like at idle.
I attempted adjusting the cable at the throttle and readjusting on the oil pump but I cannot manage to get idle/WOT to line up to the notch.
Am I doing this incorrectly or is the cable stretched out? The manual only says to line up the Idle however why are there 2 marks on the butterfly flange?
Thank you.

2000 Traxter shuts down
Hi. I'm new to this so bear with me. My 2000 Traxter 500 runs for 15 sec. to 2 mins then shuts down, just before it shuts down the display lights on the dash go off. Usually if the machine stalled the oil light would remain on. Is it possible a sensor is telling the mpem to shut down? All fuses are good ,spark is good, fuel to carb is good. I've replaced the mpem with the same result. Sometimes when I turn on the ignition ,the display on the dash flickers like crazy then stabilizes .When its idling the motor sounds normal.
Hope somebody out there can help as the machine is in really good condition other than this super aggravating situation.

2014 Sportsman 570 EFI trans swap
Wondering if anyone knows if a transmission from a newer model (2015-2016) will fit and work right in my 2014. I see they are different part numbers. I think I had a bearing fail inside mine and ripped a hole in the side of the trans case, my machine only has 46hrs/266miles on it!
Remove front fenders without removing radiator
Exactly as the title says. I have a 2011 xmr. Is there anyway to remove the front fenders without removing the radiator?
