Neutral Light Always On

I have a 1997 Polaris Sportsman Xplorer 500. I just recently bought it and am just trying to fix it up some because the engine runs great, just needs a little TLC elsewhere. One problem I came across was the neutral light would stay on after I shifted into Hi or Lo. I could push the shifter all the way forward and the light would turn off but then the shifter would just fall back a little to turn the light back on. The bike is still in gear but I've already replaced the neutral light (blown bulb) before and don't want to have it blown again. What might be causing the shifter to slip back down but still be in gear?

X3 rims on a commander

I have the opportunity to buy a set of x3 rims.... but not the center cap pieces. If I buy the center caps will they fit the commander?

2008 HO 400 Outlander wont start

Hello all, my name is John and I'm descending into madness over this ATV. It was purchased by my father-in-law in 2008 and was ridden for a total of 330'ish miles over a couple of years and then parked. He passed away and we inherited it and I am just now getting around to getting it back up and running. When he passed in 2016 we tried to move it around in the garage and it would blow the fuel pump fuse so I pulled the tank and pump to find it all corroded and rotted away. Two years later, this weekend it got a brand new fuel pump assembly and I put it back together but it will not start. It will crank over, I've pulled the plug and cleaned it and checked it for spark and it has a nice blue spark. I pulled the airbox off cleaned the throttle body the best I could and the IAC and put it back together. The fuel pump comes on and is pressurizing the hose, I even pulled the fuel line back apart and made it pump fuel back into the gas can (using new fuel for all of this). I know it is frowned upon from what I've read but if I spray some carb cleaner into the air intake it will run and of course dies. But it will not run any other way. I have not tested the fuel pressure yet as I do not have the equipment but I have noticed when I have pulled the spark plug it is dry like zero fuel is getting in the chamber. Is there something else I should be looking at here? Thank you for any help.

1996 Sportsman. No spark

I’ve got a 1996 Sportsman 500 that doesn’t seem to have any spark. It wouldn’t start so I pulled the plug and changed it and tried cranking it and notice there was no spark at the electrode. Thoughts of what all to check and how to check it before I start replacing parts.

looking for switched power on my 17 outty 850

Hey guys,

So, first mod will be some halos from snorkelyouratv.com

I installed halos on my brute force, but there was a powerblock already.

My question: where can I find switched/ignition power to power these on my 2017 outlander 850XT

4 corners the same or not???

Greetings people...
I have a tire size question for the board here. Currently on my 1k XP I’m running 28” blackwater evolutions with about 650 miles on them. Impressed with these tires, Iam not. I ride mostly hard and some mud.
That being said I’m doing my research for a new set. My question is what are the advantages and disadvantages of running all the same width tires.

Parts needed

I just picked a 2014 sportsman 400 ho. I am looking for some plastics and front end parts bumper radiator and bracket any help!!

shift rods end link

Hi, the bolt on the shift rod end link broke and it looks like the rod end can be replaced. Has anyone been able to find this part without having to buy the complete rod with the end link? My quad is a 2003 polaris sportsman 500ho. The part I'm talking about can be seen on the partzilla website, part number 15. The rod is fine but the bolt is broken.

thanks
for the help

2018 Sportsman 570 Big Boss: Tires and “Must Have” Accessories

New to the Forum. Didn't see a dedicated Big Boss 6x6 forum, so hopefully some of the guys in here have the 6x6.

I just ordered a 2018 Sportsman 570 Big Boss 6x6, and will be using the machine for hunting in Alaska. Lots of trails with mud, rocks, deep creek crossings, hill climbs, etc. For now I just kept the stock 26" tires on the machine. I've got the wheel spacers to make room for 27's, but haven't picked the tire yet. The two options I was looking at were the ITP Blackwaters and the ITP XTR tires.

Anybody else in here upgrade to 27's? What tire did you go with? I liked the 8 ply Blackwater option on the UTV I had last, especially in shale and sharp rocky sections of trail.

Any "must have" accessories? I ordered the Front winch, Yukon bed rack, wheel spacers, and front rack. I'll grab one of the Koplin gun boot kits and mount it to the bed rack. I am thinking an AGM battery, 27" tires, and rear winch. Maybe UHMW skid plates and snorkel kit after another paycheck or two. Any of you run those custom tracks over just the rear wheels? I've seen them on the trail over the years.

Any other members on here that hunt in Alaska with their 6x6? Would be sweet to see what you guys have done to your machines, to make them built for Alaska hunting.

Pulled the trigger on a 2019!

Pulled the trigger on a 2019 Outlander 850 Max XT! Struggled a little with the decision between the 650 & 850, but ultimately for the difference in price I decided to go with the 850. Only $600 difference between 650 & 850. I went with the Intense red color, (looks like more of a maroon to me). Traded in my 2015 Polaris 570 SP Touring. The 570 had enough power for my needs, so I know the 850 will be beyond impressive. The only bad news is that the delivery date is approximately the end of August, so I am going to have to wait a while before I get the new machine. Hopefully it is more than worth the wait!
