Rear Gear set movement

Wondering if the movement of the rear gear set is normal. When I take off you can see it move a bit within the bolts that hold it in place.
Is there replaceable bushings there? I had a look at the polaris parts page but it only lists bolts. Are these supposed to be tight.
I am trying to tighten up the old 11 850xp, there are a few clunks and groans around this quad. Thanks all!

No Grease on CV axle?

So I bought grease tool for front and back wheel bearings to do my 2017 570 and sons 2017 450 HO at 240 miles on both. Did mine last weekend and did his today. Front drivers side cv axle had zero grease. Bone dry, not just none left, it was never greased. Picture taken shows what looks to be metal overheated and burnt. Unacceptable! Anyone that has a fairly new machine or has been meaning to grease bearings better get after it, bearings took a lot of grease.

Steering post upper bushing

2003 polaris sportsman 500 ho
Does anyone know the diameter of the steering shaft. I need to replace the upper bushing, in the event the dealership doesn’t have the part or it’s too expensive I know there are a slew of bushing to choose from for sway bars at the parts store. I saw someone on the scrambler pages use a jeep sway bar bushing. Any direction would help. Thanks.

New to me ignition coil

Hey
well today I finally got around to installing the new to me ignition coil I got off of ebay. It was used, but in one piece.
My original one was damaged the boot was ripped in two places and I used electrical tape to hold it together and the cord came right out of the boot, also tapped to prevent from coming off.
when I drove in warm to hot temps after about 15min of riding around the property just checking on things it would want to stall and hesitate on throttle. my other post of this I was told it's probably the T-Bap harness and I emailed otb power sports as another rider here advised and they told me to order the pressure sensor harness as this causes the quad to react this way when its faulty. So I ordered it and its on its way.
I finished the install of the ignition coil and the quad started up perfectly and I let it idle for about 10 min to get it warm to ensure all is good. the fan came on and off as it should to cool the rad fluid and I took a spin. For about 20min or so I tried to get the quad to "react" as it did and it wouldn't .
Have I just gotten lucky and the main problem was that damaged ignition coil boot?
what are your thoughts on this.
thanks for any advise and input
Glenn.

Clunky Hesitation When Shifting to H or R

Hello Riders, hoping someone has an answer or comment to my '13 850 HO EP issue. At just over 1,000 miles when shifting into either forward H, L gear and/or reverse, there is a short delay in the gear engagement along with a jolt as the throttle is increased. Feels like a delay in the clutch or belt engaging. This occurs either at cold startup or after running, like something needs an adjustment to "take up the slack."
Drive belt wearing out or the clutch mechanism sticking? Thanks in advance for any comments?

Noise

I recently purchased my Sportsman 700, there is a grinding noise that sounds like it's coming from the front, it gets much louder when it's moving. No matter the gear,2 or 4 wheel drive. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Bill
