So I have a 2018 outlander 570 max DPS, and as of today the 4x4 will not engage, no light and with just the key on I cannot hear the actuator working.

I disconnected the connector to the actuator next to the dip stick, and put it back in and all the fuses seem to be fine. Earlier in the day playing in a puddle it did not engage but after a min or so I looked down and the light was on....i just shrugged it off. Now however it really inst working, any thoughts before it goes to the dealer?

If it is important the bike has 20 hours and 300 miles.

Hey guys, i just joined the forums, and just recently adopted a 2004 polaris 330 mag, my mom traded her old snowmobile for this ATV, stating it ran fine when they went to pick it up (Plastics and the whole machine + tires are like new condition + ownership). Later when they got it home they went to use it and they said it sounded like a bag of hammers (metal on metal) the atv shifts into gears and moves, then they turned it off. With a fit of shame they just handed it over to me excepting they got ripped off. I havent owned an atv, or dirt bike at all throughout my life, ive only done carb cleanings when it comes to small engine stuff. I have a job where all i do is electrical mechanical repairs, and some hydraulic, so i think i could tackle this myself. If this needs a new engine, is it worth ordering a used one off ebay and attempting the repair myself (consider what the machine is even worth? maybe 2300$? If there is anyone on here with experience with these 330 mags, since i havent seen the machine yet myself, what would be the first few things you would check? is it full of oil ? is there metal in the oil? are there parts of the belt/transmission that could make a metal noise aswell?


Sorry for all the questions, just want to get a solid idea of what to do when i go check the machine out. Thanks in advance.

Hey guys I have a 2007 Sportsman 500 X2 I am trying to do some rear bearings on it. But on both sides the bottom bolt that holds the hub to the a arm can’t be removed ? I can spin the entire bolt with a impact but I can not actually move the bolt forward or back? I need to get it out. Am I missing something ?? Also I am was wondering if the 500 X2 came with 2 sway bars in the rear suspension ? Mine is missing one completely and the one that is there is very loose?

Hi Guys! Been meaning to do this for awhile.. My name is Chad I bought a 2018 Sportsman XP1000 in April. Traded in a 2016 Grizzly for it. First couple rides went great but last ride it started pulling hard at idle and wouldn't shift. Took it back to the dealership to have it checked out assuming it'll be covered under warranty.

Hi guys, so I just picked up an 09 outlander from a buddy of mine for cheap because he sunk it and locked up the top end and messed up some electrical. I'm pretty handy with mechanical work but when it comes to electrical I'm lost. I've tried multiple good batteries and jump boxes so I know I'm giving it the power it needs but when I turn the key absolutely nothing happens. No fuel pump, no dash, no lights. I took a test light to the fuse box and I'm getting power to all 3 relays. And this is the part that stumps me, when I stick the test light to the diode, the dash comes on but will go off after about 15 seconds or so as if you took the key out. But if you keep the diode grounded with the test light, the dash stays on for as long as its grounded but nothing else on the bike works. The diode tests good with an volt meter, All the fuses test good and I've swapped all 3 relays with new ones. Its seeming like any device that has to go through the ecm is not working but I'm hoping its something simple that I'm looking over as I don't wanna fork over the cash for a new ecm lol. Any help or ideas at all is appreciated
