Polaris Sportsman 300 only runs with full throttle and lots of gas applied

I've got a 2008 Polaris Sportsman 300 and I can't keep it running without pulling out (fully) the choke and then very quickly giving it a ton of gas. As long as I'm giving it a ton of gas, it "runs." The second I let up... it dies.

I've taken the carburetor apart; I've cleaned it inside and out plus replaced all the small parts inside via a kit I bought (jets, etc.). Note that, while I'm anything but a mechanic, I have had success in the past (when the ATV started running roughly or dying, I'd clean out the carb and it would run like new). This time cleaning the carb offered up no improvement whatsoever. It sounds and runs exactly the same as before I even touched the carburetor - telling me that the issue is not the carburetor. The vent hoses (running into the top of the carburetor) are not blocked and I put a new vent filter inline. (Note that the machine runs exactly the same (poorly) whether this filter is in place or not.) I've also replaced the fuel filter and double-checked to make sure I've got it placed in the correct (flow) direction. (The battery is new; I've drained and refilled the gas tank; I've checked the throttle cable dead-man's switch, there near the right thumb switch under the black plate and it's fine. I also put on a new spark plug, the old one was super black.)

I'm thinking there's a simple solution, a plugged fuel line I haven't thought of or whatever... but before I got in over my head, I thought I'd see if anyone here has suggestions. Any help is much appreciated.

Carb Jet Stuck

I'm in the process of trying to rebuild my carb and my idle jet is stripped I believe. Any recommendations on how to get it out.

I have a 2004.5 Sportsman 500 H.O. with the Mikuni carb still in it.

essentially the wheeler has been bogging at higher rpms when driving. It will gradually pick up speed but seems to bog a little when you can it at the higher end.

Use for SAE Plug on Sportsman 570 info.

Wondering what folks run off the SAE plugs that come on the Polaris Sportsman’s?

I’ve never come across this style of plug before and would like to know if I could charge a second battery off it that stays in a toolbox’s mounted on the rear rack?
If that is possible what electrical items would I need to set it up?

High rpms in low gear?

I have a 2013 Polaris Sportsman 500 that at around 25-30 mph I’m already doing 5000 rpms! It takes about 1500-2000 rpms just to get the damn thing moving. The idle is fine, everything seems normal except that the shifter has a lot of play to it. My dad did actually break the pin connecting the shifter lever to the shifting mechanism there and jerry rigged it a little but it was fine after he did it for a while. He did that this winter and it was fine until about a week or 2 ago. Also when I get up to high speeds to quick it kinda just cuts out for a second then comes back on but sounds like it’s about to blow up (probably too high of rpms)

Any ideas? Belt Slipping?
