I'm in the market for a new ATV and am interested in the Commander. I sometimes ride in very hot conditions with my current ATV and I see posts about the Commander having problems with too much heat build-up in the cab. Some say they couldn't lean their leg on the console because it got too hot. Among other posts about heat build-up in the cab, they it was so hot underneath that occasional leaf buildup sometimes caught fire. If that's true, it seems to me that the engine and exhaust is getting way to hot to be safe and is a Can-Am problem. That much heat build-up would not only make riding in hot conditions miserable but would certainly make me afraid to ride a Commander in a desert.
However, those posts were from 2016 -- and earlier! Since I haven't found any discussion of that problem in more recent posts, I wonder if Can-Am has fixed the problem since then.
Any comments about heat build-up in the cab of the 2018 Commander?
Thanks in advance,
Crockett
