Been a long time since I needed help, but I’m back. Google searches aren’t getting me anywhere.

Was riding my 2015 850 SP today. Noted when I get above 30 MPH the cluster reads OC 16.8, or as much as OC 17.7. When this happens the power steering stops working and it starts pulling to the right. Steer left a little to stay straight and then slow down a bit and suddenly power steering comes back on. Because I’m steering to the left, I suddenly veer left, almost die, lose continence of bowel, swear, be happy the steering is working, speed back up, repeat.

The best I can find in the manual is that there is an error code called “Steering Over Current Shut Down.” But I’ll be darned if I can find a fix. Anyone got any suggestions? I’m open to ideas.

I spent the better part of my day servicing the beast.
Last night I installed my Cecco Diff cover. This morning I went and picked up some diff fluid to replace what I lost during the install. While there I figured I’d snag a inner/outer tie rod ends as I’ve generated some play in my steering from left to right.
While talking with my service tech, he told me about a trick.
Below the power steering unit, there is a stem that connects to the bracket where your tie rod ends connect. He said to check that for play. I told him I was aware but that I had tightened that bolt already and it hasn’t helped and that the bolt was as tight as it could be. He said, nonono, drip RED loctite in the splines of the lower steering stem and let it dry. Once it’s dry, drip some more, repeat one more time and let it sit over night and then tighten that bolt again.
I figure what do I have to lose...?
As soon as I got back from the dealer I followed his directions. I left to go install a water heater at one of my rental properties, came back and tightened that bolt down. In the process, I snapped the bolt... I snapped that garbage, stretched Polaris provided bolt with a 1/4” drive with a long ass extension! Piece of garbage!
I went to Lowe’s and picked up a hardened steel replacement, came home, fiddle dicked around trying to get the nut on the other side, placed some RED loctite on it and cranked that bitch down.
Steering play is GONE! Feels like a brand new machine again!
The idea behind the RED loctite is to obviously stiffen it up in there, but also to harden and keep water and mud out as it does corrode and wear!

Bought an Outlander with some halo lights already installed. Want to pull them off and replace since they don't work too well. Was wondering if anyone had any good ideas on how to remove since they are siliconed on. Also would like some recommendations on halo kits to buy and a waterproof switch. Not sure which kits are the best. Looking for blue halos.

I have a 2015 can am Maverick 1000 xmr..this past weekend while riding I was going up a hill in 4 wheel drive and the front end was making all kind of noise... It doesn't pop or anything on flat ground but when it's in a strain it's starts popping.. any idea what would be causing the front diff to do this?

I have been trying to find a brush guard of some sort for the front of a sportsman 110, the only one I could find was on eBay but they do not ship to Canada. Does anyone know where I may be able to find one?

I have an 2013 850 XP Limited with 6200 miles and yesterday trial riding for the first time this season my temperature light came on and the machine went into a limp mode. Outside temperature was in the 50's, riding speed was 15-30 mph, some puddles and wet trails. 20 minutes into the ride this happened and I sat for a few minutes at idle and continued on - fan was running when I stopped. Repeated again about 15 minutes later and shut the machine down. Took the front box off and it appeared to be very HOT and poured some bottled water over the radiator. There looks to be a relay on some covered wires or hosing that senses temperature in front of the radiator. Zipped tied the relay closer to the radiator and prompt the front box up higher to get more air to the radiator. Continued down the trail for another 3 / 4 hours no issues, lowered the front box to the normal seating. Riding 40 mph down gravel road for about 5 miles and it happened again, raised the box back up and road for another 2 hours of trail riding back to the trail-head with no issues.

I'm going to remove a LED light from the brush guard (but I don't believe that would be it since it's been on for two years with no temp issues). Remove the front grille assembly and attempt to clean the radiator fins the best I can. Let it idle until the fan turns on and see.

Any other suggestions? What is the name of the relay in front of the radiator?
