My hand brake went from almost impossible to pull to now nothing, no brakes at all except for foot pedal. What might be wrong. Thx.

So changing out the bearings in the trailing arm and can not seem to figure out if they push all the way through the tube, or if you have to pull them out. Im not talking about the wheel bearing, im talking about the bearings in the upper trailing arm that swivel on the shaft with the 2 nuts (its morning and I cant think of the name of the shaft lol). Anyone changed these out yet? If they need to be pulled, what end did you use on your slide hammer or how did you get them out. Im afraid to just try and press it all the way through (I have a 20 ton press). Were leaving in 5 days from illinois to go to Wildcat adventure park in Kentucky and of course we find last min problems.

aight its a 95 425 4x4 and i love it but since its been lifted a smidge Ive had nothing but problems with the swing arm trying to climb and the chain either being way to tight or just sloppy ass loose. whats the fix for this? ive tried using limit straps and keep breaking them and have had the swing arm walk all the way under the bike....... i remounted the shock ina different position to stop that.

Hello everyone.. I Have a 2000 250 trailblazer my first atv I bought I got it cheap needed a lot of work because it was sitting for 3-1/2 years... Break, tires, tune up, ... well it was running.. took it to the trails a couple of times but then when I turned it off.. little by little it took longer to start to the point where my pull start string broke then my starter also took a dump ... well I've replaced the starter and throttle cable because it was worn and had play and cleaned out the carb but still it seems like the carb is getting gas and I do have spark... even with starting fluid it doesn't start.... Does anyone have any clue... Is this common

2005 sportsman 700 twin


so my original carb was leaking out the drain spout. I took it apart to see if there was any obvious problems. it was old so i figured id get a new one.

The 1st new one also is leaking out the drain spout, i sent it back and they sent another one which also leaks out the drain spout. Both of the new carbs i looked for something wrong, needles, drain setscrew, bad floats... all looks ok.


Does anyone know what might be causing this or am i just having bad luck with carbs?

Finally decided on the bear claw HTR for my sportsman, 25x10x12 and 25x8x12. I gotta say these things look tiny (unmounted) standing next to the stock goodyears that are on it, read in the forum they would run a little bigger. Also i didnt know they had their bright colored logo on both sides of the tire (are you kidding me?) and i don't like it at all, been a black sidewall fan for 40 yrs. i don't get paid for advertising and its gonna look like sheet on the machine. Could be my ocd kickin in but if i cant figure out a way to get their ugly logo off they probably wont get used. Am i the only one that doesn't like the logo, any ideas how to get rid of them ugly logos? And no i don't want to color them in with a sharpie. Not to thrilled about them already. :sad

Can someone send me some suggestions> I have a 2003 sportsman 700 that is not getting gas to the spark plugs. Plenty of gas in the cards. We rebuild....pretty much everything. Compression is over 150 psi's, new cam and lifters, pistons etc. It will occasionally back fire through the carbs. Any ideas???

Does anyone have any recommendations on replacing the Entire Fuel Pump Assembly for a 2007 Polaris Sportsman 800 EFI? I was wondering if the 2008-2011 Fuel Pump Assembly was the same? Trying not to spend $700 dollars on the entire thing from Polaris. Any feedback is appreciated.
