2015 XMR 1000 Rim Size

I destroyed a factory 2015 XMR rim this weekend, by forgetting to put a brake caliper bolt in. The brake caliper came loose and destroyed the inside on the rim. :th_smiliepissed:
I know the rims are ITP SS312 14 inch rims, but I have no idea about the rest: bolt pattern, back space etc. and the ITP website has several to choose from....The tires are the stock 30 x 9 -14 silverbacks. Any help would be greatly appreciated and get me back riding!

2006 Hawkeye 2×4

I have the above ATV. The right side inner CV boot ripped. I down loaded the manual on the internet. I saw on there that the outer joint should have a snap ring to get the joint off. I looked at both ends of the joint....inner and outer. There isn't any place taken away on the cage where the snap ring resides.

Is this typical, or is it an aftermarket CV axle? I'm even having trouble getting the axle out of the transmission.

Any suggestions on what to do in order to replace the boot?

Thanks,

2005 Predator 500 wiring

I recently purchased a 2005 Predator 500 and the key switch was moved to the right fender.
I have found the hot wires and have connected to 2 red wires leading back to the start switch on the handle bar. The bike starts and all lights work but there are 2 black wires and 2 brown wires in the same area as the red and the switch but they are not connected to anything. Anyone have any ideas what the black and brown might be for??
Thanks

Fluid change, time vs. hours

I bought a new 16 570 sportsman in the summer of 16, that winter I did the first service at 15 hours in preparation to plow some snow. My initial plan was to change all the fluids once a year but I got busy and didn't go on any rides. As of today it only has 25 hours on it, no mud no water just work around my property. I have changed the oil and filter but curious about the other fluids, it's been about 14-16 months but only 10 hours of riding. Needless to say we have had no significant snow to plow so it hasn't seen any hard work.

’12 850 XP EPS won’t start…

Because of an injury I haven't been able to ride much. But I need my Wheeler to work when I need it.

I Started it recently to move it out of the lawn mower's way - ran fine for a few minutes. When I went to Re-Start it it cranked FOREVER then backfired REAL loud. Now it won't start!? It fires while cranking - maybe twice, Put Put - but will not run and stay running.

It has been running a little rough and back firing but it goes away after it runs for a while. I always make sure to get it to operating temp before it sits for weeks.

I am lost on how to trouble shooting this - I've read lots of No Start posts here and am spinning my wheels. There are no codes on the display. When I turn the key to 'On' I hear what sounds like water boiling near the fuel tank - is that the fuel pump?

It is due for factory service in 5 hours (the thing has under 700 mi on it and I had to replace the fan last year!) Other than that The thing has NEVER given me any trouble. I prefer to NOT take it to a dealer. I do most of my own maintenance and I WILL say that I take very good of this and all my toys.
I'm stumped - Any suggestions for me?? I'll give more info as needed.
Thanks in Advance

It's not too pretty to get dirty

There’s no doubt about it, this is one wicked Polaris Scrambler XP 1000. It’s not at all uncommon to find folks who spend a ton of time and money outfitting a great looking mud ATV, only to keep it out of the mud. That’s definitely not the case with the Sinister Scrambler as it’s owner is not shy about getting it dirty.

ATV.com recommends that ATV riders always wear a helmet when behind the bars.

New Outtie 1000 possible issues

I picked up an '18 Outtie Max XTP 1000 last week. I have a few potential issues that I was hoping to get some feedback on:

Condensation in gauge - Is this normal? Is there anything I can do to prevent it? I can get it replaced under warranty but that is not much help if it will just happen again.

Backfiring - The bike seems to backfire once in a while slowing down (engine braking). Is this normal? My 800 never seemed to do that.

Bike seems like a huge improvement over my '09 shortie. The shocks are night and day better and I really like the max. The power steering is a great addition as well. I snorkeled the bike with the brp kit (looooong install) and added a bunch of dei cool tape and some floor and tunnel shield to various spots to help keep things cool. Looking forward to many enjoyable miles on this one.

Thanks

2008 Polaris Sportsman 300 Bogging Down

I just replaced the carburetor and the atv starts and idles fine, but once you push the gas it bogs and stalls. If I open the choke about 1/4 it will run and drive fine. It's got fresh lines, filters and gas. What could be the issue....I know the gas gauge parts broke and fell inside the tank but that shouldn't matter should it? Any suggestions what to do next I was going to pull the tank, dump and clean it out as my next resort????
