I have a 1997 Sportsman 500 and it starts right up and runs good but after 30-35 minutes, I have never timed it it just up and quits. First time it was out of fuel, so I thought nothing of it but it continues to do it.
I use it to plow snow and it takes about 35-45 minutes to plow it all off and I never quite get it done before it quits. Let it set 30 minutes or so and boom fires right off and runs.
I replaced the ignition coil with a brand new one and still does it.
Seems to me to be electrical related and something gets hot and it quits, once it cools life is good. Engine is full of oil, full of coolant.
Any ideas?
Jeff
