Brand spanking new 570 touring... First ride today. Front end squeaks like crazy. I didn't take it through any water, but it was insanely muddy from the 4" of rain this week.

Just grease them? I didn't think it would do that right out of the box.

Some air cleaner conversations have come up recently.
I figured I’d post a few pics of how your “properly oiled” UNI should look and how the air box should look upon removal after numerous rides.
As you can see in the pic of the filter, the impurities are sticking to the air filter, and in the other pic you’ll notice the box itself is very clean.
I did find some moisture in there so apparently I got a little deeper in water than I thought, or it was from pressure washing it.
In any event, the inside where the the filter protects is spotless relatively speaking.

Alright guys so my 800 just recently spun both rod bearings and I have a buddy of mine with a parts can am commander 1000 with a good motor and has all the electronics my question is what all do I need off the commander to make this swap work?? Also don't know the year of the commander

Over the last fall, my sportsman 335 now rev limits in neutral as well as reverse. Override button still works. At the same time, my high beam bulb stopped working, and when i flip the switch, it rev limits in forward gear too. Low beams work fine and drives great. Curious if the high/low adapter i added so all the lights stay on in high beam mode could be causing the problem or more likely the limiter box under the hood? I have a service manual, and i have extensively inspected and rebuilt 2 of these so far, just havent had time to check it out. Any thoughts? Thanks

Motor doesn't smoke at an idle, only when you're in the throttle, and uses oil, no loss of power at all any idea guys

Hey everyone,

I recently purchased this quad and I am getting into replacing the old worn out parts. So far I have changed all the fluids and put some 27" Bear Claw HTRs on it with 1" spacers.

The shocks are the next part that will need to be replaced. I am not looking into lifting it, although it will need to maintain enough clearance for the 1 inch taller tires.

So far I am looking at the Griffin Performance shocks found here Web Store.

I spoke to Griffin Performance and they said I would need to replace the A arms and the Upper Shock Mounts with the stock Renegade parts.

I believe these would be the correct Parts form 2008 Renegade, please correct me if I am wrong.

Would it be a better idea to look into high clearance or aftermarket A arms since I would be replacing them anyway?

Does anyone have any other suggestions that would not require new a arms and brackets?

Is this upgrade even worth it? should I just replace with stock shocks?

I would love to get your opinion on going this route or your suggestions of other options.

Howdy all hopefully an easy question I purchased my father a '99 sportsman 500 with a plow to make his life easier during the winter and it did that. However now he is wanting to drive it around the yard and around the neighborhood (it is registered to do so). anyway i don't want to go through tires like water which it would and i did do a search but did not come up with anything. Can anyone suggest turf/road tires that won't tear up his lawn and also not just eat through a set of tires during the summer?
