Temp light

Hey i have an 07 400 outlander and i wondered if anyone knew what would cause a coolant temp light to stay on all the time even when it's cold..and how to test the temp sensor? There are 2 connectors on the sensor and they don't have continuity.

Bumpers & front skid plate for new 450 DPS.

Looking for an opinion as to whether or not to add bumpers and a front-only skid plate to my new 450 DPS. It will be primarily used for light ranch work and pulling a 52" rough-cut mower to knock down tall grass and thin brush. The area has already been cleared of obstacles.

Thanks!

2005 Polaris predator 500 won’t start

So last summer I rode alot but the quad seemed to burn alot of oil so I stopped riding it as much, but also any time I had it running it had a knock to it it that sounded like valve knock, I was told to adjust valves but im not sure how to adjust them on this quad to I didn't bother it, I just stopped riding it, I pulled it out a couple of months ago to ride it and it wouldnt idle on it's own but if I got into the gas too much it would cost down and die, so I put it aside for a couple months, now im finally getting back to it and I can't get it to start, pulled the plug and has spark, has gas but won't fire!? I pulled intake off and when I crank it air comes out of the carb along with old winter gas, I haven't got it to fire one time since pulling it out of the shed but I ran a compression test on it and it didn't even read, it would fuck the gauge alittle but didn't get anything, I assume because a valve is stuck open and all the compressed air is escaping through the carb? Can anybody help me out? Could a valve just need adjusted or be stuck open and if so how do I adjust them on a shim under bucket system?

HMF on a 1000

I know exhaust threads are everywhere and I sort of got some answers but I just wanted to post again to see what people come up with. I just got a '16 renegade 1000. It came with the HMF full (i think) Performance exhaust and the HMF optimizer. Without riding it I know it will be too loud for me. I also have a stock '09 800 and I am happy with the stock sound. So my questions...

If I buy quiet cores for the dual HMF's will I actually be able to do full day trail rides with no ear plugs and no ears ringing after? And will I have to adjust my setup on the optimizer?

2016 Polaris XP 100 Touring

Hello all,

I am looking to get some bigger tires for my ATV. I have been looking through the forums and cannot find anything recent. I saw some posts about the rear passenger foot rest being in the way but also others that say the 27" will fit. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Right now I have 26x9x14 PXT and 26x11x14 PXT w/factory rims.

Thanks.
