Picked up a Can Am Superwinch Terra 45. Called up dealer where I purchased my Defender and he quoted me $500 install!! I literally laughed out loud and said that was more than what I paid for the winch. :eek

Anyhow....I've never installed a winch. From my research, this winch is specifically for the Defender and pretty much a "plug and play" install. Looking over the project, my only reservation is connecting the solenoid/contactor assembly under the dash. Everything else seems pretty straight forward.

I've installed everything on my machine so far. Never done a winch, but no way I'm paying for install. So is this something a novice can tackle?

Im looking to cool down my 2016 Outty XMR 1000. Im a new owner of this machine and I noticed this past summer I had issues with 1.) The exhaust would get so hot that it heated up some of my plastics which concerned me and 2.) My fan kicks on quite a bit. I use this quad for a various number of things including trail riding, mudding, ice fishing, and plowing. I have heard new exhaust, tuning, and other various solutions to this problem which I am okay with doing but I am also not looking for an extreme performance overhaul either. Again im very new to this so I am inexperienced with the tuning process as well. I want to get a new exhaust as well but I just need to know what direction to go as far as the overheating goes because this is my #1 priority with this machine. So any positive feedback and suggestions are greatly appreciated. My machine is all stock right now btw and I have just over 1000 miles on it. Also I am looking at looney tuned dual exhaust, they sound sweet and look good from what I have researched. Opinions and facts greatly appreciated.

I am attempting to install a new starter I'm my 92 350L. The problem I am having is removing the last starter bracket bolt near the clutch housing. There is no room to get a wrench. I removed the clutch housing cover off Hoping there was access inside...no go. Was thinking of drilling a large access hole to get at the bolt. Then plug it with a rubber plug or something. Any better ideas would be greatly appreciated.

My question is why aren’t the front wheels “on” when the switch is in “ADC 4x4?”

Regular 4x4 shows them on.

I put a new carb on an 04 700 but I have a lean spot when I blip the throttle. How do I richen it up?

Considering my new 2018 machine coded after 5 hours of running, I'm wondering if I should get the extended warranty? Without reading into it, not sure what all is covered so I thought I'd throw it out there..........any suggestions?

Hey new to the forum, gonna buy a magnum 325 this weekend, iv seen some floating around with a 2 inch lift but the only one I could find were for the magnum 330s or higher. Would a lift for a 330 or 500 work on a 325? Any info would help. Thanks

I have a 02 Sportsman 500 H.O. It is in the constant stage of loosing coolant. Not a lot just regularly until there is finally none in the overflow container. It warms up and pressure causes small amount of coolant to be lost through overflow into the overflow container and out that cap. When it cools the coolant goes back down. After several of these times the level in the overflow goes to empty. Any ideas? I've replace the radiator cap... same thing. It's happening to my 2012 also. was thinking of putting the overflow container at a higher point...wondering if that might help. Any ideas?
