Water Pump Can-am Outlander 800 xt (2008)

I have a Can-am Outlander xt 800 with a broken water pump (I Believe) I have read up on it a bit and found out there might be a broken gear on the water pump shaft. I was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem with their water pump turbine not spin/ atv overheating. I have replaced the radiator and hoses also on the quad.

2018 850 xmr

I have looked through the form and haven’t found a answer yet. Besides the tires, has anything changed on the 2018 850xmr? Also I just upgraded from the 650xmr, what’s the difference in the ride? I know it’s a mud buggy and I can’t wait to get it dirty. I just see people complaining about the shocks handling etc. Any info would be great thanks!

Single-Seat Polaris RZR RS1 Unveiled

The rumored single-seat RZR we’ve been hearing about has officially been unveiled – introducing the 2018 Polaris RZR RS1.

If you thought Polaris would stand idly by while the Can-Am Maverick X3 family took Sport UTVs in a whole new direction…well you don’ t know Polaris. The Minnesota-based manufacturer just took the covers off of the innovative single-seat Polaris RZR RS1.

Designed to be the most nimble RZR ever, the new Polaris RZR RS1 is 64 inches wide with an 83-inch wheelbase and is powered by the 110-horsepower ProStar 1000 H.O. engine. It features a starting price of $13,999 and will start showing up in Polaris dealerships in February.

Slasher Axles?

Not sure if this has been covered or not, did a forum search and didn't come up with anything. Anyone replace axles on their XMR with slasher axles? If so how are they holding up? I trashed my right front axle after getting stuck and trying to power out of some wet river bottom sand. Here's a link to what I'm looking at. Thanks guys. CanAm Outlander 1000 STI Axles

2017 Outlander 570

Just picked up a new 570 on a huge sale. I have been a Honda guy my whole life so this was a big step for me. So far I picked up ricochet skids, a winch, and a snorkel kit. Any other big improvements that any thinks it should have before I go out for some long rides. I live in coal country in Schuylkill county Pennsylvania so I was afraid to go anywhere without full skid plates. Where is everyone setting the suspension on these? The front felt way to soft going down hill on steep rocky trails so I set the preload as hard as it would go. Where I ride I can easily put 100 miles on in a day just looking for some suggestions/ how others like it.
