Currently own 2 Polaris ATVs but thinking about buying a new Outlander Max or a Maverick Trail
Speedometer indictating wrong gear
I have a 2011 sportsman 800 efi.The speedo only indicates L and H and the 4X4 indicator is on no matter what gear it's in.I have replaced the gear position switch with a new one. There are no codes that show up on the speedo and I took it to the dealer and had it put on the digital wrench and no codes showed up.Any ideas, could it be a bad speedo? The dealer said that wouldn't show up as a code.I've jumped the wires on the plug at the position switch and it still will only read L and H.I don't what to buy a speedo if I don't have to,and I don't know anyone I could switch with to see if that's the problem. Thanks for any help PS I've also checked the resistance at the resistor module.
Finally decided to join
Hi Guys,
I've been "creeping" on this forum for about a year now, so I figured it was time to join. I ended up buying a 2016 Polaris 570 Sportsman Touring EPS in white. I absolutely love it, more so in fact then my 2002 Husberg 501 that I had as my last off-road vehicle.
A lot of the research I did before I bought my Sportsman was on this forum so thank you!

CanAm lost power and now won’t run longer than a minute
All right ya smarty pantses I need some help. I’ve turned to these threads for a long time looking for help but this is my first problem I’ve had that’s made me create an account.
The bike: 2013 CanAm Outlander 650EFI XMR.
The problem: I just got the bike out of the shop not 2 weeks ago, it had the brake line and front disc brakes/calipers replaced. It’s sat since then except for being used about 15 minutes to pull a deer about 100 yards.
Yesterday I was using some fix a flat to buy me some time on a tire and once I got that finish I rode up the dirt driveway to test out the tire. The driveway is long (nearly a quarter mile) and I regularly floor it all the way up. This time I get about 2/3 of the way up and the power cuts off for about a second. My finger hadn’t moved off the throttle but it was like I totally let off. After it came back I slowed down and turned around to head. I headed back at about half power and not 50feet down the road it does it again, for longer this time, about 2 seconds. I then slow way down to about 10ph and the check engine light flickers on and off and the display reads “Limp Home Mode”. As soon as I stop it back at the garage it dies. It wouldn’t start again until it had cooled off. When I start it now it will run around a minute and a half to two minutes idling before it starts going in and out and then dies. The engine light is no longer on. What I have been suggested and what seems most likely is that the fuel pump just went out. I wanted to know if any of y’all have had any similar issues? Is it normal for a fuel pump to just quit on you like that? Should I be checking for other problems? Appreciate any help.
Edit: Adding that I just learned of it possibly being as simple as a low battery. We’ve had unusually cold weather here in Florida for over a week now and I haven’t kept it on charge, I’ll see if that fixes it tomorrow. Please let me know if you can think of anything else to check.

04 sportsman 500 snorkel
So I'm going to snorkel my quad as I'm looking at it to build my snorkel I see the airbox has a tube going up under my plastics near the gas tank and my intake for the cvt goes in the exact same area
My only issue would be the exhaust cvt
Which had me thinking can I route the exhaust for the cvt into my airbox and be done with it I want a stealth look for my atv
Also I,don't plan on riding in anything over my seat while mudding/riding
