Sportsman 500 has been sitting… need answers!!!
I have a 2004.5 Sportsman 500 H.O. that has been sitting around for a few years. ATV has been stored inside of an industrial garage that is relatively climate controlled. I want to get it running again. When I stored it, it would only start with the pull start, not the electric. When I attempted to use the key to start it, it would click. I took the connectors off of the solenoid to clean them as they were rusted and ended up breaking one of the connectors on the solenoid so I know that needs to be replaced. I also plan to drain the gas, change the spark plug, change the oil, and attempt to charge, if not change the battery before I plan to ride it. Any other suggestions anyone can recommend to me? Please help! Im desperate to ride again!
GPS tracking device to help in theft recovery?
I have recently recovered two ATVs that were stolen from me by druggie neighbors at my weekend property. I've done everything I can do now to make it very difficult to steal them again, but a determined thief could likely use my own tools to thwart all of my locks, etc.
There are 7 vehicles I'd deem worth stealing there (plus my tractor which they attempted to hot wire, but they aren't going anywhere fast on that thing and it'll be much harder to sell). There's no way I'm paying monthly fees on 7 different trackers. Does anyone know of any kind of tracking device that can be hooked up to a 12v battery that I can activate AFTER my stuff is stolen? I'm thinking install something now and when it goes missing I activate it with a phone call or website? If it's hooked directly to a 12v battery (my stuff is usually on a trickle charge when I'm gone for many weeks at a time), it should have power long enough for me to figure out which druggie neighbor is hiding it in his woods. This has happened on my property in 2 different states, each time it was the teenage drug addicted next door neighbor. This last time they were my cheapest two ATVs and thankfully the kids were arrested for something else and gave up the ATV location after it was missing only a month. The last time they took 3 and they were gone for well over a year. I have insurance, I'm just more interested in how to recover them quickly, hopefully in a location that quickly incriminates the bastards.

2001 Xplorer 400 4×4 Manual Needed
I have searched everywhere for a repair manual for my machine. I know I can order one but if anyone knows of where I might be able to download one I would be eternally grateful. If you have a link to a post on this forum please reply with the link. Just like everyone else simply trying to save a couple bucks, especially since the wife spends my money as quick as I make it. I know some of you can understand.
