Hey so was riding my 650 one day went over some bumps the whole bike shut down , okay not a big deal , tried boosting it and it worked searched the bike top to bottom sure enough it was a poor ground , in the mean time I went through every plug in and wire , so now that's all good I started riding again more and starting got weaker every time over a matter of five starts , then wouldn't start at all , took the battery out opened it up eventually and it was dry as a bone , I got warranty tried it again , same thing battery went dry , once again I did the same all over again the other day literally 5 minutes of riding the battery went dry , why !? I'm sure this is over charging if I'm not mistaken but why ??
Finally got enough snow to go trackin 2017!
What a great day! We had an inversion that melted a lot of the snow we already had up high the last few weeks, BUT, it snowed enough yesterday to get an awesome ride in that was way better than we expected. Watch for the little oops part way through. Gotta remember to watch where you're going when filming. Doh!

2017 Sportsman 450HO Wont Start Issue
Hey all!! I was getting ready to head up north (Adirondacks) with my 2017 450HO Sportsman for the winter and I went to load up my quad and it will not start. It turned over and fired right up first try then died. Fired up again enough to pull it out of the garage to let it warm up and it died. Then, I tried to start it again and it just kept turning over and over and would not start. It was fine a week ago when I rode it. It has been between 10* and 30*F here in Rochester, NY and I store the machine in my garage out of the elements. After trying to start it several times, battery voltage dropped to 10.6 and said LO next to the batter voltage so, I took my jumper box and hooked it to the battery and, of course, it turned over faster but still did not start. The maintenance light is now on and it still will not start. I can hear the fuel pump as well. The machine has 34hrs on it as well and was recently service by the dealer for the original break in oil change etc.
Any thoughts here? It's currently delaying me leaving and, if something is broken, I want to be sure to take it back to the dealer because the warranty ends in 6 days. I imagine it has something to do with the cold but, I would also think that, by using my jumper box, it would not have a problem starting. The maintenance light turning on is what mostly concerns me now at this point. Any help is dearly appreciated! Thanks a bunch:)

2017 Sportsman 850 Clutch
My clutch seems to engage very late in my opinion.
In High, it will start moving the bike around 2300RPM.
Just wondering if this is normal? Also that the low end power seems to be lacking? The front end will not come off the ground if I try?

Oil leak
While I had my outlander in the garage I noticed it had an oil leak. Once I got the skid plate off I seen it was leaking where the drive shaft meets the motor. Is this just an oil seal? Also is this common because my machine inlay has 650 miles on it.

New fuel cap on polaris Phoenix 2018
This year Polaris did a little (But very good) upgrade to the Phoenix 200, the fuel cap on the late model has no longer the vent hose.
This is a headache for me since the bike is used by my 6 year old son and he is constantly pulling that damn hose. Some times I worry about getting some dirt or water into the fuel tank so I´m constantly telling my son to assure the hose is in place.
After checking the parts list on the late model the part number of the gas tank, and of course the gas cap has changed.... I was expecting just to replace the gas cap but I see it´s going to be more complicated than that.
Anyone else has any better solution to get rid of the gas cap vent hose?

Hi guys, I would like to throw in some inexpensive LED headlight bulbs. I realize they don't project as well, so not asking how they perform. Any suggestions on bulbs? Also not sure of size yet either. Thanks!!
