Got a new rebuild kit today. Rebuilt the carb. Still garbage. What gives? Bogging like crazy... I tried everything possible. Only way I can get it to half way idle and run is by loosening the lock nut on throttle and turning screw to where it picks up slide. I'm no mechanic but can someone help? I've got a new float arm and pin on way, not sure if that will help either.

My 2014 570’s pinion shaft has a groove in it and I have heard people talking about pressing a bushing onto the shaft and purchasing a different seal size. Has anyone done this? Also what brand and part numbers were used in this situation?

Anyone know if the 2017 Sportsman 850sp will still allow the plow to be mounted once the Ricochet skit plates are on? I already have the plates on and want to order the plow but not if im going to have to go through modifying the skids right away.

Working on getting the winch fixed up on my sportsman and called about 3 or 4 different dealerships before I finally found somebody at Snows Polaris in Pa that could get to the bottom of this.

So I needed part number 2876785 (2500/3500 lb winch free spool knob) that fits winch kit p/n 2878790

That part is no longer made, but the winch can supposedly be retrofitted with the following parts:


p/n 2205625 - K. Handle, HD Winch ($3.12 from polarisparts123.com)

p/n 2205497 - K-SVC, Handle, Winch, INT CAM ($3.12 from polarisparts.com)


I'll follow up this thread when I get the parts and let everybody know how it turns out...

Hopefully this will help somebody, I know there are plenty of folks that have had problems with these knobs in the past.

Can anyone tell me what kind of hose is used inside the fuel tank on the fuel sending unit of the 500 HO? I need to replace mine, but want to make sure I use something that is not going to break down from being submerged in the fuel tank. Thank you.

2002 expedition 425 my rear suspension is very weak. IM 200lbs and it almost all the way compressed. I can push it pretty easy by hand. How do i no if i just need a new spring or a new shock? possibly a stiffer spring?
