Steel or Poly Blade?
60 inch steel or 66 poly polaris blade? Only $135 more for the larger poly, but which is better?

my 2015 touring 2 up with 49 hrs on it and just hit 300 miles.... fuel pump goes bad?? really... brought it to my dealer and they said its a known problem from polaris.. hope they warranty this... or it will cost me $663 to fix.. good thing i had a buddy with me to tow it back to the trailer... I baby the shit out of my quad... never swamped it or abused it... this is the 2nd time i had issues with this quad... kinda pissed...i didn't want to spend $11,000 on a quad to worry my quad might fail...:mad:if they don't warranty this i WILL NEVER BUY from them again..will trade it in for a can am 2 up. the kicker is i was considering buying another 2 up for the family... having 2nd thoughts on polaris.

High revving in reverse.
When i put my bike into reverse she rev's really high and i need to lock on the brakes to stop her. This only happens when cold and only happens in reverse. When bike warms up she seems to be fine. The reverse cable is not coming into contact with throttle cable. Would this be a good indication of a dirty/ sticky clutch?? 2015 Outlander max XT 1000cc
Buy a hold over 17 or wait for 18???
I can get my hands on a 2017 blue 570 for 5k. Should I jump on this or wait tell 18??? Anyone know if they will have different colors in 18 than just green and red? Not a fan of either....love the blue, yellow and orange though...money savings will be about a grand on the hold over. I won't prodominately use the machine tell next spring anyways....so sure if I wait or just pick one up now. Any input would be great...

Backfiring ’09 850 XP – How To Fix What I Found?
Hey Guys,
Sorry to beat this dead horse, as I did use the search feature and found many users with a similar backfiring problem on an 850 xp and adjusting the throttle cable seemed to fix. I did that procedure and mine is still doing this. My quad is a 2009 850 XP, very well maintained machine. 131 hours of use. After a few months of sitting in the garage I went to fire it up for hunting season yesterday and took it for a spin.
At idle it's missing, making a slight "popping" or "burping" sound occasionally as it burps or misses at idle and it's backfiring very loudly consistently on decel. Can't do much hunting with gunshots following me around, lol. It also just seems like a loss of power too.
After adjusting the cable, the problem still occurs. So i added a zip tie in between the contacts. Same problem. I then took off the plastics and found this:

Here is a further back photo so you can see where it is...

Looks like a god damned mouse chewed the wiring!!!! I think this might be the source of the rough running/backfiring. How should I go about fixing? Just electrical tape and call it good? It doesn't look like they made it all the way through any of the wires.
Do you agree this could be the issue?
