AMSOIL GNCC Racing Bike Highlights: Polaris Ace Powerline Park GNCC

The penultimate round of the 2017 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship, traveled to St. Clairsville, Ohio this weekend for the 17th Annual Polaris Ace Powerline Park GNCC. As the pros lined up for the start of the 1 p.m. race, rain began sprinkling the already muddy track making for one of the worst mud races of the year.

2005 Sportsman 400 no AWD

Recently purchased a 2005 Sportsman for my son. It will not go into AWD. I have current in the grey wire to the front differential, but no current in the Brown/White wire. Is it likely an issue with the magnet or could it be a broken cage? Thanks for any advice

Polaris 90 issues

Having issues with safety switches on Polaris 90 sportsman, can't figure out if they ground for the starting circuit.

Saturday ride on the 570 with the girlfriend

Went up to the mettowee Atv park near Granville ny yesterday. It's small but they have all sorts of terrain and trail types including an oval dirt track, mud pits and more.

Took out the outlander 570, the girlfriend came with and she had a blast. I even let her drive through the mud pits. She did real well for her skill level and only managed to get stuck in the end, (unfortunately no pic)

2010 850 Xp cylinder boring

Just picked up a nice 10 850 Xp (1600 miles) with EPS for $1300. Smoked like crazy, blowing oil out the exhaust, pulled the head, checked the valve seals and while they leak a little not enough to compensate for all the oil usage. Cylinder walls, looked good, no scoring but can not see the cross hatching. So I pulled the motor out and apart, there is a very noticeable "ridge" where the piston reaches the bottom of its stroke, a noticeable ridge for each ring. It has the Nikasil plated jugs, can I just bore them out some and put oversized pistons in and call it good?

Tire Sizes Sportmans 1000

Iam looking to see whats the biggest size tire i can put on my stock oem S1000 wheels. Not going to lift it , keep it stock height. What would be the best brand... If anyone as any pictures they can share , it would be great.

2016 Sportsman 450 snorkel kit??

Hello, new to the forums. And I've bought my first ATV last year, a Polaris Sportsman 450 h.o. And I've had trouble finding a snorkel kit for it, people have told me that the bike is too small, but honestly I aint giving up hope yet. Im curious, and I've heard rumors that the 2016 570 and the 450 have the same frame size? And would I be able to buy a snorkel kit for the 570 instead? Thanks for taking time to read and respond to this.

Thank you Can-am

My 20 year old son and I just got home from 3 days of Hatfield McCoy trail riding with our new 570 and 1000 outlanders. These atv's are just amazing! We threw 150 miles of everything we could at them, heavy dust, deep mud, big rocks, steep hills, and just wide open trail ripping. The capability of these machines is incredible since we could go wide open over rough trails and soak up the bumps, catch huge air and land like a pillow. I even rolled the 1000 and it landed back on its wheels with hardly a scratch. Can-am will definitely get more of my business and the other 5 guys we went with all want one too after riding ours. Both are bone stock and I don't see a reason to change anything.
