Wife’s new toy

The wife got her new toy today while I was stuck at work. Dealer had installed a winch and some front and rear stick stoppers. It had a wheel/tire package on it, but we got them to put the stock setup back on. Didn't need a tire as aggressive as they had on it.

She will be the primary user do it shouldn't get driven too crazy. We are looking to add a wheel/tire package to it. Just gotta decide on what to go with. Without lifting the bike, what size tires can I go to. 27's? 28's? I don't want to rob too much power from it.

To Run or Not to Run

I have a Sportsman 90. I have been checking everything on it. I put a new carb on it and have not been able to get it to run. Yesterday, I grabbed a can of starting fluid, just to try anything, and sprayed a good shot into the carb. To my surprise the little engine rand for a couple of seconds and then died. What should I do next...I'm out of ideas.

Ive been looking at buying a 1995 scrambler 400 2 stroke. Plastics look great and it runs great, but all 4 tires are ahot. Whats a good price for one of these machines?

Four wheeler carburetor problems

I was riding and I crash and rolled my 1997 xplorer. When it rolled gas got into the oil so I brought it to a mechanic to do the oil change and he did a carburetor kit also. When I got it back it only went 30 tops and slowed down for hills. I took the carb and cleaned the jets that the guy had put on from the carburator kit. It had full power again for about an hour. Then things started going back to what they had been so I figured I has crap in my fuel so i drained the tank and cleaned the jets again. It is still slow and has a major lack of power. I also tried seafoam and no luck.

Can-Am Snorkel and Yoshimura Install

Just want to share my recent install of the Can-Am Snorkel Kit and Yoshimura Exhaust.

The snorkel was a b*tch to install... Manual says 4 hours but it took 6 hours including RTFM along the way :smile. Had one issue where it was required to cut a fuel line and re-route it. I followed the instructions exactly but does anyone know why it goes into a loop. (See photo of instruction on fuel tank vent hose.

The Yoshimura install was easier but I had the problem where the Exhaust was touching the metal heat shield (indicated by pink arrow). Had to bang it in with a mallet but it's still only had about a 1-2mm gap. Does anyone else had this problem? Sounds superb though.
