Welp shredded my first belt. Me and four friends went to Carolina adventure world. After hour n half of riding I kept hearing a pop pop pop when on the throttle. I figured was belt so tried to limp her to pits. She let go and gave out. I'm wondering maybe I put the belt on too tight when I installed it a few months ago? I did hurt it a little the other day trying to get it on the trailer without ramps. Had some rubber chunks come out of the snorkel for the cv. Was a regular gates belt. We cut it in half to get it off
Need more atv friends to ride with!

Another Sprong Dilema
Hi ATV'ers: Its been a while since I've been here. I usually like to do as much repairs as I can, but this problem isn't in the manual or you tube. I took apart the light switch because the headlight wasn't working. Well, a couple of springe dropped out, 4 contacts for the switch and four wheel drive button and I think 2 ball bearings. Found everything but 1 bearing. Not sure where the bearings go. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
570 Testing
I just got back from a week of riding the Hatfield & McCoy trails and passed these 4 570's a number of times, I thought the units mounted on the front of the cargo box was some kind of a gps, but I ran into these 4 guys at the trailhead at Buffalo Mountain and asked about the gps, and they told me they worked for Polaris and the units were for recording data, so I asked if they were working on the heat problem and the one guy told me for the last 3 months so here's hoping they get it right.

So I bought a 2014 sportsman 570 efi and it's been nothing but problems since it was bought brand new. I just exceeded 40 hrs and this lot voltage code showed up. Lo 10.9 as it idles, the voltage decreases then starts sputtering and backfiring. My altenater is fine and I'm sure my battery is alright as well. I do have a 2,500 lb wench installed too. Anyone have any ideas????

You’ve saved up some money and have decided you have about $12,000 to spend on a new UTV. That’s awesome, as there are several good ones to choose from. When you break it down, it becomes a matter of what you really want for your money. On one end of the spectrum is the popular […] more

2005 John Deere Trail Buck 500 Auto Clutch Problem
I am working on my dads 05 John Deere Trail Buck 500 Auto. Im try to remove the primary drive clutch. I have been reading in many forums on the net and people are all over the place on this. Im not familiar with this clutch. Im trying to remove it as the spring is hanging up and it wont stop. This clutch is different from comet ac and polaris where you can remove the outer cover to remove the spring. I need to know if this is a split clutch that I can just remove the outer shiv and spider or does it come off in one piece like all the clutches im used to? I have read where some say both ways. I have the JD part number for the puller JDG 11200 I cant seem to find one to buy. I dont really want to spend $60-$100 on a tool im just going use once. Could some one please tell me how this clutch comes apart?? If someone has one of these pullers could you please give accurate dimensions of it so I can build one of my own. I need to know what thread is in the clutch so I can get a bolt to screw in against the proper round stock to pop the clutch off. I know a guy that works at Team Industry's where the clutch was most likely built that will turn me out a puller too. I just need all of the accurate dimensions of the tool. Please HELP

2016 sportsman 570 Led headlights.
I finally found a good set of Led headlights for my 570. Now I need to go get another set for my 400. I'm thinking about putting a colored bulb in the pod light (either green or orange) since I hardly ever use it anyway.
