Greetings all. The first few numbers of the serial numbers on the Apache tracks look a date code. Can anyone confirm this? Or better yet, know how to attain a date code from the serial number? Pictured below.
I just picked theses up.
I was wondering if anyone can help out.
I have a 2002 sportsman 700 and the regulator/rectifier needs replacing. maybe the stator as well but ..... anyways.
when I search on partzilla or whatever the rectifier is obsolete.
does anyone know the replacement part number? or an aftermarket one? that would fit?
Its a 4 wire one.
I am also looking to purchase the updated ignition kit used . I have found one that does not have the rectifier with it.
does anyone know the part number for the rectifier that goes with that kokusan kit (2201602)
thanks in advance for your knowlege and help
cheers
Tarik
Just picked up my first canam, a 2008 Renny X. Ive owned about 50 atvs in my time but this is my first canam and I like it! I have a few questions I thought you guys could help me with. Im a fast trail rider with a little mud and snow.
1. What tire and size do yall recommend? I was thinking 14" wheel and 26" tires.
2. Will a slip on improve acceleration? I dont want something too loud but I want it deep sounding. From searching looks like the Aaen is the way to go.
3. What in all do I need for an 09 intake upgrade and is it a noticeable improvement?
4. Clutch upgrades? Whats the latest and greatest? Not worried about topend just want brutal acceleration.
5. Do I need a programmer with these mods and if so which one?
Where do you add oil on a 335?
I filled the tank ahead of the engine and new filter.
Found the drain plug on the bottom of the crank case.
But don't see a fill tube.
I have a 2014 Renegade 800 R. I have counted 8 grease zerks on front suspension, 6 on the rear suspension and 2 on the drive shaft U joints.
This makes a total of 16 grease zerks.:
Do I have them all covered or are there more than 16?
my 2003 sportsman ran great one day, wouldn't start the next day. acted like the starter wasn't engaging, but i tore the case off and it seems to be kicking the bendix out correctly. the bendix then stretches out to the flywheel, but wont turn it. when i took the cover off, these 4 magnets and a broken piece of plastic sat in the bottom. can anyone please help? is this a stator problem?
