battery defective after 8 months?

battery toast after 8 months?
yuasa. atv used maybe 1x per week on average. lots of shorter runs. i understand that it drains the batt, but now tickle charger will show after 5min, and I can get 1 crank if i'm lucky.
disappointed....I mean those things are not that expensive....
what is a good brand to replace it with? (no yuasa please)

New to Polaris, not to ATVs.
Just picked up a 99 Sportsman 335 for $900, needs alittle work but seems to have a strong motor.
Sure I will have questions.

My 1000R finally here – first mods

Hey everyone. Was a long wait for me but my 1000R XTP is finally here halfway around the world.

Just wanted to share my first mods, replacing all front low beam and high beams with CSP LEDs. So that means i will be drawing 100W (25w x 4) vs 240W (55W low beam x 2, 65W high beam x 2). But i then added a 60W light bar too.

My first complaint is hot left foot... I need to do something about it but I see many topics about this already, I didn't want to do something too elaborate though.

Plastics fitment

I've had my Scrambler for about 8 months now and I haven't had the time or money to mess with it.... Well I'm finally getting both now.... I've never owned a Polaris before.... I've owned plenty of ATV's and have plenty of knowledge in the ATV world so I'm not at a complete loss.... Now to my question.... I have a 2000 Scrambler 500 H.O. 4x4 and I've looked about a million places for new plastics and can't find them.... The only Plastics I'm really finding are used on Ebay.... Now I found a few colors I liked however they were for a Scrambler 400 in my year.... Will they fit my 500????

Polaris Sportsman Deluxe Brush Guard

I have a 2001 Sportsman 500 HO and I just picked up a Polaris deluxe front brush guard on Ebay. I was wondering if someone out there who has one of these installed on their Sportsman could post some pictures of the mounting so I can get mine installed. I've searched the internet and can't find any good pictures or instructions anywhere. Thanks for the help!!
