2017 Honda Pioneer 1000 EPS Review + Video

During a recent free day in the hills of North Georgia we had the opportunity to gather our gear and take our 2017 Honda Pioneer 1000 EPS model out for one last ride. This would help confirm any suspicions and dispel any preconceived notions before we had to hand the machine back to Honda. [VS […] more
Just Living That ATC Life With Your Homies + Video

It’s actually quite impressive that an ATC70, with its tiny little donut tires, can travel that well at all, much less ride a wheelie through the heavy sand in St. Anthony Idaho. That’s how you live the ATC life. ATV.com recommends that ATV riders always wear a helmet and other protective gear when behind the […] more
Loud bang with out the engine turning over
Good morning. I need some advice. My 2005 sportsman 400 won't start. I turned the key as to start it and with out the engine turning over I hear a loud bang. It sounded electrical especially since nothing from engine turned. If I pull start it, it will only start once and it will run for a few seconds and die. Then it wont pull start till many hours later and it will do the same, start and not run more than a Second or 2.

castle nut torque value
Hi
I have a 2012 sportsman 550 EPS & I'm going to change the rear wheel bearings.
Can anyone tell me how many ft lbs to torque the castle nut too?
I found some you tube videos but they all had different torque specs & none of the videos were for my specific model.
Thanks in advance

2008 800 Front Differential Issue
Any help or opinions are greatly appreciated, I have a 2008 Sportsman 800 with 1200 miles of light use, I have owned since new. Due to a 4wd problem (constantly locked in) I took out my front differential hoping to find the common blown up sprague cage, well that I did not. Every thing appears to be in great condition and intact other than when I took out the output pistons and parts on the drivers side I found wrapped around the output pistons was a bunch of black plastic material. It appears the piston was rubbing against the black plastic ring section (see pic 1 zoom in) that comes as part of the case on both sides. I assume it is some type of a coil or something? Not sure if this is supposed to be ever touching or not. It almost seems like in a manual transmission you have the flywheel and pressure plate that might be slipping causing it to melt off instead of making full contact? Just not sure how these 2 parts are supposed to mate or not touch at all. I assume the 4wd is locked in because of the mess that I found(see pic 3). If you look at the second pic(zoom in) I also have 2 pretty good grooves worn in the armature piece not sure if this is supposed to happen either? I posted a few pics first should show the wear/melting on the whatever its called, second shows the mess on the workbench and third shows the melted pieces that are from the first pic. The passenger side does also have some wear on it but no real debris. Thanks to all who can help and hope I put this in the right section. If not please advise.
2015 850 cuts out when throttled
Just bought a 2015 850. Ran great first day but when I started out the next day the engine began hesitating when I throttled. Played around with it for half an hour and it ran great the rest of the day. Two days later I hopped on and it did the same thing. It idles fine, but when I give it gas it dies. I try to keep out of heat but it didn't help
That’s One Way To Flip Yourself Back Over + Video

This guy wasn’t going to accept defeat just because he landed on his side. He must have had a good physics teacher who taught him the true effects of inertia and gravity and how to leverage them in your favor. He used them to find a unique way to flip himself back over. ATV.com recommends that […] more
