’12 850 XP Speedo fail

So I got a new to me Sportsman. The digital gauge cluster didn't work upon receipt. So I ordered another one. Plugged it in, and it lights up, and everything worked, so I thought. The fuel gauge just keeps flashing and the speedometer stays at zero. The tach does work, as does everything else. Any ideas?

91 Trail boss 350 will Not Run Right

My dad was riding his 350L down the trail when it all of a sudden started sputtering then died and would not restart. We towed it back and left it sit for a few hours then tried it again. It would start with full or half choke, but would not idle under any circumstance. To keep it running, you need half choke or full choke while feathering the throttle. With no choke it would sputter and die again like its not getting fuel. You could drive the machine with half or full choke, but it would rev slow and not get to full RPM's. No power all the way around.

Did some reading and starting trouble shooting. Here is a list of things I tried in no particular order.

Cleaned out the fuel tank
Fresh Gas
Cleaned the petcock
Replaced the fuel line and filter
Cleaned the carb with carb cleaner and blew out all the orifices. (the carb was pretty darn clean)
Threw in a carb kit which replaced everything that was possible to replace.
Tried running it with the air mixture screw turned all the way in and slowly adjusted it to 3 turns out
Tried running it with and without the air filter
Tried running it with and without the exhaust. (I unhooked it right at the case)
Replaced the intake boot & gasket
Replaced the reeds
Replaced the spark plug
Replaced both crank seals

None of these things made ANY difference in how the machine runs....

I took the machine for a rip as best I could on half choke (it seems to run its best there). I ran it at full throttle for a period then immediately shut it off and pulled the plug. The tip was white showing that there is a lean condition going on here.

I ran a compression test. It is at 100psi according to my gauge. I know that is low, but would compression show up all of a sudden like that?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Nick

3Built Wireless Remote Kill for ATV installed

So I got my daughter a 2016 Polaris outlaw 50 in mint condition. It has the tether that if she fell off it will kill the atv but my wife wanted more assurance she could stop her if she wanted. I bought this kit from 3built and was really impressed so far with the quality and the support. The respond within 24 hours and are very familiar with wiring and suggestions. I feared it may be one of those things that you buy it and it’s hell getting support, but it was not.

I won’t go in to the wiring but it was super easy and zero cutting , totally plug and play, and the receiver I wired to receive power whenever the atv is on via the key.

Here’s a video if anyone needs this kind of thing
