How to test the “On Demand” front wheels drive Xplorer 250

For those of you that have been following my post- you know that I am slowly breathing life into a hand me down Xplorer 250 I got to thinking is there a simple way to test if the automatic AWD works? Can I simply put the whole unit up on block and start it with the electric switch in the "on" position, put it in gear will the front wheels turn then?

ATV GPS Recommendations??

I would like to get a GPS package that has a decent screen size (for these old eyes!!), able to load New Hampshire maps, and preferably waterproof. There seem to be several choices, some with pretty high prices - but do you really get more if you pay more?? I'll pay the price if it's REALLY worth it - but I would prefer to have someone who actually owns one of high dollar units say so....

What do you folks recommend?

Rear backrest / storage w/Rack Extender

Morning all,

I'm looking to get some sort of rear storage on my XP 1000. (It's a 2018 model year). I have the rear rack extender installed (like what comes with the hunter edition).
Is anyone running this extender with some rear storage that can act as a backrest for a passenger or am I stuck doing one or the other.

Any storage / backrests you have experience with you'd recommend?

1996 Sportsman – Coolant hoses

Does anybody know where I can get a coolant hose for a 1996 Sportsman 500?

I've checked everywhere online and it appears that they no longer sell the OE coolant hose, specifically the lower one. It has two bends that if I were to use straight coolant hose, would kink.

I could possibly re-route it but wanted to see if there are any alternatives. The upper hose shouldn't be a problem since it's a pretty straight piece.
