Big Boss 250 ID and Repair

Hi all, I recently picked up a Big Boss 250 to use on the farm I work at. I am struggling to correctly ID it so that I can acquire the correct set of manuals before I start working on it later this week.

The frame is stamped “2082577” up in the right side front fender. I was told it’s a 2000 model but believe this to be incorrect. It has a single brake, a L-H-N-R shift pattern, and is obviously a 250. Can anyone help me ID this unit’s exact year? I did email Polaris support about ID as well.

A few other details: I was told it hasn’t been run in 4-6 years, that the electric starter doesn’t work, and had a couple of bare red wires on the left side pointed out. Also nothing happens if you pull on the brake with plenty of fluid in the reservoir. So she’s going to need some work.

98 Xplorer 400 center plow mount plate

Looking at getting a Rammy flail mower for at the cabin. It attaches like a plow to a center mount plate. Having a problem finding one for the Xplorer, but wasn't the frame the same as Sportsmans of the same years? Warn makes one for Sportsman 500 going all the way back to 96. Wouldn't that be the same?

High Voltage Youth Bike Race Report

The High Voltage GNCC, round nine of the 2019 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series, an AMA National Championship, took place July 6th and 7th in Dunkard, PA. While this marked the first-ever High Voltage event, the venue is located close to the Mason-Dixon GNCC, which the series will visit in the fall. Naturally, it has very similar terrain with rolling hills, soil with plenty of clay and tree roots, which gives GNCC racers a familiar feeling while out on the racecourse.

After Market Winch

So I decided to add an after market winch to my 2018 Polaris Sportsman 450 and I want to hook it into the factory plug in that is made for a Polaris factory made winch. Because right now where I have the winch hooked up, it is constantly running power and drains the battery even when the atv is off. Is there any kind of adapter or anything that will allow me to do this? Thanks!
