Hey guys, just finished changing my rear dif oil, seemed like more oil was coming out than going in.Any tips or tricks to make it easier?I put a piece of rubber tubing on the end of the cap which helped a bit.
While trying to adjust the throttle cable I took the cover off the handlebar end and found what looks to be a vacuum type line split along the side to allow the cable to be inserted. The vacuum type line had been placed into the throttle cable guide and is just over an inch long. Did someone install this to keep the contacts from touching? It is does not seem possible to properly adjust the cable. I removed the vacuum type line and now the cable pops out of the thumb control when I release it to quickly. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Ended up busting the front diff and pinion cover in a mud hole and am wanting to know about how much it would be to replace the front diff and pinion cover. Also where to get the best upgraded pinion plate for it as well??
I need to order brake pads. Rear for sure, might need fronts as well. What brand is most recommended? Braking ability is preferred over brake pad life.
