I just picked up a 13 xt 400 for my son, it has 300 miles so I figured just change the fluid and maybe a battery and should be good, it's a pretty clean unit however, I pulled the air box apart and a mouse made a home.

This made me decide to check the belt due to the inlet in the same area sure enough mouse inside there as well, the belt is frayed a little but the primary has some big grooves. Is this normal? Or maybe from chopped up mouse bones?

Just installed Cecco pinion cover and Eastoffroad.com halo rings and KFI tiger tail.Also ordered GSE trail tamer exhaust and filter. I have rode new machine 5 minutes in my yard and the mods started all ready 💰💰🤭 crazy how these machines get us to spend money but I love it we are only here for a little while so let’s have fun.

My 2014 570 with 1450 miles/ 150 hours seems to be running out of fuel. Just barely got me home today. Will run at just above idle but dies if more throttle used. Does always start right back up. Only used at the ski hill ,bought new, no deep water etc , plenty of cold tho but never had a problem before. Always had non ethanol fuel. Is this the dreaded fuel pump issue ? Probably going to dealer on Tuesday. Thoughts or advice ? Tks

We just picked up this brand new 2018 Polaris Sportsman 570 Utility Edition this weekend. We came from a 2008 that was becoming more work than it was worth so we sold it and upgraded.

Pretty happy with the new bike so far. Still breaking her in around the yard while anxiously awaiting spring. We looked at a few other models and even other brands, but kept coming back to Polaris.

It got a little dirty on the ride home, oh well... they only stay real clean for so long.

My sportsman was running great, then i trailored it to the place we were going wheeling and it started but as soon as i hit the throttle the engine light came on and it spit and spuddered. It would idle but touch the throttle and the engine light would come on. we tried different things and all of sudden it was running good again but as soon as i shut it off the engine light came back on and it run like shit. We left it on the trailor and went riding for the day and when we came back it was running fine again and still is after getting it home! what could of happened?

I have 2010 500 efi, runs perfect for about 15 mins then it looses spark to the front cylinder, if I let it sit for about 20 mins, then it works again, I have put a new coil on and same results, after 15 mins there is no spark coming out of the coil, any ideas of what to try next? Thanks

Last year I was at Hatfield McCoy and on Day 2 we were riding back on the road, about 4 miles to the cabin. I was having other unrelated issues that day with over heats etc.

While driving down the road the left front left wheel locked up for about 30 feet, while at about 15-20 mph. I have a flat spot burned on the tire which I have since swapped out.

I have gone through the entire bike and fixed everything else that I was having issues with, this symptom has not come up since. I would like to address this before we hit the trails again, but I have no idea on what I should be checking. No idea what would have caused it. I have changed the hub fluid a couple times to make sure I have any dirt out, but other than that I have no idea what to look at.

Any ideas?

I have a 2000 Traxter 500 that has developed a squeal. It is not there when I first start it but as it warms up it develops and gets progressively louder. I am at a loss to diagnose the issue. I have spoken with everyone I can think of and no one has an answer for me. Has anyone out there has this problem as well??

The last 2 times I have been plowing driving my idle has dropped to the point where the bike will die at times or at least feel like it is going to....Seems like it happens after I have been working the bike for awhile....any ideas?

I got stock tires on a 2018-570. They have a tough time getting up "the wash" let me try and discribe, "the wash"

The wash is a hill, it's rocks and covered in wet leafs and a small creek. it's about 75 yards long at a 45° angle. There are some fairly large rocks in the way and I have to take a trees out. I got half way up last year, but I was sliding and spinning all the way.

I have no clue what tires to go to to give me better traction going up the wash.

Oh ya, on the way up, half way up it's dogleg right, it's an interesting climb.

Im not sure 'mud tires' would work, or 'snow tires'. there are TONS of wet leafs. when I go hunting I have to walk up the wash, it's a tough climb on foot. BTW< the "wash' is the only way to get to my back country. if you go straight out the back of my cabin, its 80' straight up, you can't even walk it. so the only way outback is to go up the wash.

So any suggestions would be apprciated
