Outlander still creeping after adjustments..

So I’ve been having trouble with gen 1 outlander creeping and making it hard to change gears.. I even got a brand ne stm secondary on, added an extra shim (4 shims total) in it and I still get creeping..

When the bike is cold it’ll change gears and won’t creep. But when I go riding for a period of time especially through the sugar sand where it really having to work and it’s hot, when I stop it wants to creep and is super hard to shift, if I can.. but as soon as I turn it off and turn it back on I can get it to shift into gear until I get on the throttle in gear. Rpms are 1200 at idle. Trans has fresh fluid in it too, belt is brand new as well. When I had the cover off the primary appears to move fine. I still need to ride it for a long time without the cover. If I add another shim I can pretty move the belt up and down freely, from how loose it is.

Gen 1 Speedometer

Hi all,

Recently my 2007 outlander 800 gauge quit working. It'll light up red but the actual gauge does not work, fuel and the DIC. The gauge lens is cracked so it does get wet. Safe to assume it needs a new gauge? If so does anyone have any for sale?

Thanks.

Wiring an LED light bar

Hey guys my first post, I have a 2018 sportsman 850 and plan to add a 75 watt light bar, 12inch with flood / spot. Not happy with stock lights. To keep it simple and still accomplish the task this is my plan. Disconnect both front bumper bulbs...do not think I need them with the light bar. Connect light bar positive at splice in one of the bumper bulb positive wires and ground the ground. Am I correct that light bar will light on low beam and I can switch to high beam...light bar off, pod light on? Any problem with light bar and I can plug in both bumper bulbs and disconnect light bar. This setup as I see lowers electrical load by unplugging front bulbs and seems very simple. Thanks in advance for your helpful comments.

Brake problem

I have a 2000 magnum 325 which the brakes dont work, i have bought two different rear brake calipers. I bled the most recent caliper and the back brakes were solid for about 2 weeks until now. Whenever i hit the brakes it just sinks to the foor, i have to press the brakes two or three times for it to work properly. The front brakes dont work at all and i cant bleed them because both of the valves are stripped. Is there a leak in the brake line or the caliper that im missing?

Anyone Tempted to Cut a Hole in Side Panel?

We have two 2017 Outlander 450’s. Changing the oil on them is a pain in the arse because the footrest/lower side panel are in the way of the oil filter cover. It seems like it would have been much easier to simply mold in a cut out for the oil filter replacement.
Maybe they did it on purpose to discourage the do it yourselfers? It’s such a no-brainer to me.

Decode my Vin number for Month

I have a 02 Sportsman 500 atv. How do I decode the vin number to find what month it was built? I see some parts ask that question as built before 10-10 or after.. Anyone know how to find this information?

BRP Fender Flares question

So I want to order a set for my 13 xtp short chassis. I have 28s on and there's 2 options to choose from.

What's the difference between the flares for 30 inch tires and the normal ones?
