Hey all,

I'm looking into storage/back rest boxes for my atv. I would like one that has a passenger seat built into it that mounts to the back rack and can hold two helmets. Rather than spend countless hours online trying to find one that I think is going to work, I figured I would reach out to the forum members first. Realistically my wife is going to ride with me once in a great blue moon and I want something that can come on and off relatively easily so I'm not stuck with this huge 2 up seat all the time. Any hints or advice??

Hello Everybody, I thought I would let everyone know what I did just in case someone is interested.

I took my stock muffler off and I cut it around the weld on the intake side of muffler and pulled off the end cap. Inside on the intake side of the muffler, it extends about 5 inches inside the muffler and it chokes down the pipe about 1/4 of the overall size, (so from 2 inch to 1.5 inches), ( I wish I would have taken some pictures) :crying
I cut off the choked down part of the pipe and then inside the muffler body it has a baffle plate that is only half drilled, I opened that up as well with a 3/8" drill (I made 8 more holes on the top side of the baffle plate)
I welded it back together and put it back on, me and my friends went on a about a 3 hour ride on some faster trails :devil
I noticed that after about an hour of riding that it got a little louder and the top end throttle response was a little snappier. Me and one of my friends have identical machines and we have always run about the same, as far as performance. Now I start pulling away from him around 50 MPH, (not drastic but noticeable) I kind of figured that was because I opened up the exhaust a little.

This is just an FYI for other people like me that like to tinker and don't want to spend a bunch of money on aftermarket exhaust. Like I said I wish I would have took some pictures to explain, but if you decide to do it you will understand once you cut off the end cap.

Hello everybody, I have done some research on this forum on putting bed liner on the fenders of 4 wheelers, I have read almost all of the comments, but no one has put up any follow ups on LONG TERM results and whats working and whats not.
I am looking at doing it to my 4 wheeler this winter but I would like to make very sure of what I am putting on is going to work and last.
I am wondering results of doing it your self over taking the fenders in and having them done professionally (texture, looks, thickness, price) also what was used if done yourself? or who did you have do it?

Any information would be greatly appreciated

i have 96 blazer and when i got it she needed a belt i bought on for it on i think ebay it said it would fit mine but when i put it on it was not as tight as my 02's belt so i just went with it but it hits the protective case when idling sometimes and when im about to move i dont think its the right belt and was wondering is there a way to adjust the clutches or if someone can redirect me to a new belt that will fit.... thank you

Ok Cdi went in my sons bike oem and some aftermarket seem to expensive just wondering if anyone one here has used scdrappydogscooters products seems a lot cheaper and which Cdi # they used ?

Looking for information on what the RPMs need to/should be under to shift gears.

Being as this is my very first ATV I got to wondering..
I see a ton of threads on here and other sites when someone adds this and that to their four wheeler and it made me ask myself..

How much is to much? What can these handle as far as electrical add on's go?

On a car/truck wanna add more buy a bigger alternator.

Your thoughts?

I have a couple questions. I want to add a 7 light bar to my 09 850xp, the light bar is 35w , I would like unplug my upper light pod and hook led light to existing headlight wires so original switch works light. First question is led light leads are 16ga wire and headlight wires are what looks to be 20ga, will this be a problem, headlight is 50w. Second question is where can I find a male mate to the female plug that hooks to the headlight bulb ? Thanks.
