4mm wall 5052 alloy cut to perfect length slightly crushed in.

Hi...new to the forum. I my 2013 gade 1k runs great. It has about 3600 miles and on my last 2 rides it threw me for a loop. It runs great and performs normal accept twice now when I reach high speeds like 75 plus and let out of the throttle it wines or grinds. The first time I thought I blew my new gates c12 and just coasted to a stop but I hit throttle and it drove normal. I continued to ride for at least an hour, pulling wheelies, sliding, and cruising. It ran great but I never hit 70 plus again. A few days later I was runnin hard 70 to 75 and when I let off the throttle it wined or grinded again but this time instead of coasting to a stop, I got back in the throttle. It stopped as soon as I got back in the throttle. The first time when I coasted to a stop it grinded all the way to stop. Almost sounds like the ribs on the gates c12 were in the cover or maby the transmission or gearbox was bt gears. Could it b a engine break problem, primary clutch, or gearbox? I'm stumped

I have a 2015 outlander 800xt. It has the high lifter 2” lift kit, the rear shocks now will push down about 3 inches when I put my weight on them, but it will not physically return back up without me pulling back up on the atv. I bought a set of stage 3 Elka’s thinking it was just worn out factory shocks but even the Elka’s will not return back up without me pulling up on it. Any ideas what could be causing this? John IIkiw with Elka said it could be a bad set of shock bearings they recieved from their supplier.

I recently bought a 96 Xplorer 300 4C4 2 stroke from a local teenager who needed the money to fix his truck. I bought it knowing it didn’t run, but had run recently. I rebuilt carb, because it needed to be done anyway and got to work. The boy had the engine rebuilt about 4 months ago, and only has a few hours of ride time on it since rebuild (supposedly). I checked spark and compression to see where the issue lay. It for sure needs a CDI box or coil, because spark is low. The engine scares me. The compression is only 70 PSI. Someone locally who works on ATVs told me Some Polaris ATVs only ran between 60-90PSI. I am not sure I believe that, as it seems very low to me! Much lower than my Yamahas. I fear the rebuild may be half assed, or non existent at all. Any ideas? I trust the opinions of people who work on their Polaris ATVS such as all of you. Got this as a gift for my lady, as she wanted an auto 4x4.

I just bought my first Polaris Sportsman 500 ATV (1999) and I'm trying to figure out an issue with the speedometer cluster. It is completely dead, no lights, odometer or speedo gauge working. I'm going to try the repair suggested in this blog: KA7OEI's blog: Repair of the speedometer on a Polaris Sportsman 500 4-wheeler


I first wanted to make sure the Hall Effect Sensor wasn't a potential issue based on all my symptoms. My AWD light is working if I flick the switch on, but everything on the gauge cluster is dead. Thanks in advance!

My 96 trailboss obviously has a dead battery, but I always thought the lights would still work as long as it was running. I know all the lights work as they should as I have tested with a battery charger hooked up to the terminals. Also, I believe that the starter is bad as well.

Polaris part number 1332982. This is new, never installed. And just to be upfront, yes this is my first post on this forum. I don't have any ATVs, but I am on several car forums. I am looking to just sell this transmission and I will be off this site. As stated, new and never installed. The cheapest I have found this online is $2446.....selling for 1,800. Make an offer.

I'm tired of spending hours cleaning silicone off my clutch cover evertime I need to go in there for something thinkin about trying the outsiders mud crew gasket for it. Just wondering if anybody tried it yet and how it worked?
