Heavy Duty front springs

Can someone recommend a brand and place to order heavy duty front springs. I plan on using a small plow and mine are pretty shot. I have a lot of sag with no plow attached.

10″ wide front tires on stock wheels – ’11 Sportsman 800

Was wrenching on my new to me sportsman 800 last night and realized that the front tires were 25x10x12 489s. Stock size was 25x8x12 correct? I was under the impression that anything wider that an 8 would rub on the TRE if mounted on the stock wheels. Here are a few pics of the tire sizes and the clearance to the tie rod, which is about 1/2" or maybe a little more. Seeing this has got me reconsidering buying a set tires and wheels and just going with a new set of rubber. Anyway onto the pics:

Relocating battery terminals

After reading all the threads on here I ordered a battery tender Jr. And these cables and lugs.

https://smile.amazon.com/Polaris-Spo.../dp/B01NCERJ6B

No idea how anyone can jump or be the jumper with this atv.

From what I understand these cables are shorter than desired.

I am thinking I still will need to mount them under the storage box and the tender wires can be near the light for easier access. Will need to remove the storage to jump or be jumped.

I thought about cutting the box but then I can’t easily take it off.

Any other ideas?

1st time post

My name is Dan and I have a 2007 Can-AM DS90. It ran when it was parked but that was 7 years ago. I bought this machine for my grandson from my brother in law. Like I said it hasn't been looked at for 7 years. I bought a new battery and charged it. I took the carb apart and cleaned it as well as the fuel tank, and the fuel shut off valve. So I was hoping that would be it but it never fired so I checked the plug and I don't get any spark. I've looked at all the terminals and cant find anything that looks bad. Any ideas on where to look or check next

2013 XMR shocks

New to the sight guys. looking for some info / help. 2013 XMR 1000 shocks. Not a fan of this air system so I am replacing my shocks. Can I plug the lines or not? Can I disconnect the compressor so it doesn't run or do I have to remove it. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thumb warmer

I do have the grip warmers but find when it gets below 0 my thumb gets very cold. I see they sell a thumb warmer on E bay. The add says that you glue or zip tie it onto the throttle lever. Has anybody installed one of these and if so how well do they work and stay onto the throttle lever?

Looking for specs on an oil seal

I own a 2014 sportsman 400. Recently AWD stopped working. Took apart front gearcase to find all seals and bearings needed to be replaced. Ordered an All Balls bearing and seal kit And installed it.

However there’s one seal that doesn’t come with the kit that I need. I have it circled in the diagram below.
I’m Wondering if anyone knows the specs on this seal so I don’t have buy an entire kit again.
I believe it may be
30mm inside
75 outside
10 thick ?

Sportsman front diff issues

Has anybody spent any time tryin to figure out why the diff engages in 2x4? I put the cecco pinion cover on my bike for security but seems to me the ultimate solution is to stopping the diff from engaging when it shouldn't. I haven't had any problems and with my bike up on Jack stands cannot get all 4 tires to spin in 2x4 this makes me think that something is off with them bikes that have issues to before it happens.

I did some research and found this wondering if the guys having issues had similar problem from the factory especially because it always seems to happen with very low miles. Just tryin to brainstorm here see if we can't figure and stop this from happening
