Installing hub fluid

2000 expedition- In the service manual it says the hubs take 5oz of fluid, but in the install directions it says after you drain the hubs turn the drain plug to 4 or 8 oclock direction and fill until it seeps out? i did that in 1 wheel and calculated how much oil it took and then the other wheel i put the 5oz as it says. Well the hub i did with the 4 oclock directions didnt get nearly as much oil as the 5 oz so which way is correct?

2008 sportman 90 brakes and lights

Hey guys, I was hoping I could get some help. I bought my daughter a 2008 sportman 90 for Christmas: I want to add an led light bar to it but I’m not sure how much power this little 90 can handle, can someone tell me how many watts of bar it can handle?

Second, the hand brake on the right side (not sure if that is front or back brakes) but it doesn’t have any real stopping power. Which set of wheels does the right brake control and is there any easy way to adjust them (I’m not much of a mechanic)

Thanks guys

2018 Sportsman 850 Touring SP

Ready to close the deal. Was either this or Kawi Mule PRO FXT EPS as I really like the six seats but not the width, height and issues we have with UTVs greater than 1k pounds here in Ny.

Anyone know who makes A Arm guards for this thing?
Apparently they are different than 2017 so I’ve been batting zero.

Same with skid plates.

Working with John at ATV-G on the bumpers.
Polaris look good but don’t appear to protect low in the front.

Looking forward to learning a lot from you all.

roof and windshield for Defender

Hi folks. Im new to this forum. I was looking for a recommendation for a roof and windshield for 2017 Defender. I was in shock when I saw the prices for the average roof. Come on! $400-$500? Isn't it just a molded piece of plastic and some clamps? A darn winch is cheaper than that. Also looking for a reasonably priced windshield. Im not sure if I would want glass or plastic. Im not looking to buy cheap junk but I suspect that someone out there must have some better prices than Ive seen so far. Any advice appreciated. Thank you

4WD not working

i have a 2000 expedition. 4WD is not working. Ifound the 2 wires that go to each hub and i am not getting 12v at the connectors by the steering compartment. Is there a fuse? Is the AWD switch just a 12v switch maybe i can jump the wires out and get 12v to the connectors?

2003 Sporstman 700 no spark

Hey guys, I recently picked up a 2003 sportsman pretty cheap;however, it has no spark. I believe it is the cdi, but I want to make sure. It is the ducati one, and I read that's not great. About a week ago, I found a post somewhere that had the resistances to test the cdi, but no matter what I try I cant find it now. Does somebody has the method of testing the cdi?

Also, I am not 100 percent sure what engine this has, the seller told me it was a 700, but he also said it was a 2006 and it is a 2003 so I want to double check.

Thanks in advance! Ryan

2005 sportsman 500 ho ebs clutch dragging fix??

I recently bought a mildly used 05 sports 500 ho with ebs, and I have the notorious clutch dragging problem. I have done the research and learned that it could be alignment, the wearable washers in the primary or even the front motor mount. One thing I am looking for clarification on is something I read on a different forum that caught my attention. I read that the clutch off a 2007, I believe was the year, 800 Efi sports primary would fit. My question is, Is there a primary clutch that will fit and get rid of those wearable washers so I can have a better solution to the dragging problem?

Shock Heat Shield

I installed a full set of the Fox Evolution shocks on my 2016 Outland DPS (these are the $500 set from Can Am's accessory catalog) Since the shocks are mounted inverted, (with the shock body mounted up near the fender) I'm a little worried about the heat coming off of the exhaust on the left rear of the machine might damage the shock. Does anyone make a heat shield for the left rear shock to shield it from the exhaust pipe?
