Greetings all,

Just picked up a one owner '11 sportsman 800 today. Getting back into riding now that my kids have gotten older and santa is bringing them a rzr 170 next month :grin. Sat on a 2001 scrambler 500 4x4 until about 4 years ago and have missed it since I sold it... gotten a little older and slower but looking forward to getting back out in the woods and involving the kids :wink

HID lights won’t always come on

I installed HID lights on my 2015 Sportsman 570. When I start the machine the lights may or may not work. Maybe one light will come on, maybe both or both will come on. If they don't come on I may have to turn the engine off and try again. Any ideas?

Sportsman 500 HO knock or normal?

So I am a fairly new Polaris owner and picked up a 2013 sportsman 500 HO this past weekend. I talked to a buddy who has had several sportsmans and he told me to be aware going in that the engines were noisy. But this just seems like a knock to me and I want to get more opinions from people who use these machines often. Here are a few videos, engine is warmed up and outside air temp was 57. Oil was just changed and was primed properly.

New Renegade 1000R owner

I just purchased a new left over 2016 Renegade 1000R. I am curious what the difference is between the 1000 engine they put in the Renegade vs. the 1000 engine they put in the side by sides? Why does the side by side 1000 engines have 101hp and the Renegade 1000 have 89hp? Not that 89hp on a quad is not enough but just curious.

Glamis Black Bag Project Launches Initiative to Preserve the Dunes

Is "pack it in, pack it out" too much to ask?

Venture to almost any public riding area immediately after a holiday weekend and you’re likely to find piles of trash, water bottles and empty beer cans left behind. In high trafficked areas like Glamis, California, the amount of refuse left behind is disturbing. While this behavior is detestable and no doubt a significant factor in the closing of popular riding areas, a group of Glamis regulars have launched the Glamis Black Bag Project as a way to encourage people to practice good stewardship of the dunes and take their garbage with them.

Help wanted on purchasing Outlander 650XT

Hi,

I'm new and looking to purchase a 2014 Outlander 650 XT off craigslist. It was a repo and the current owner says he's put about 100 miles on it. The winch switch is missing and the winch itself is disconnected. I figure for about $300 I could put a new one on it. When I test drove it everything seemed fine. Didn't see any leaks or signs of abuse. What do you think? How is the price?

Thanks,
Darren

New owner of a 1000 Outlander

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum. I had a 660 Grizzly and decided to get a Can Am. Just wanted to ask people what they would recommend for tire size and brand. Just something for trail riding, hunting. Also any upgraded that you'd recommend I should do. Thx
