so i have my belt case off because my bike grinds into high and reverse, at idle the primary clutch catches the belt and pulls the secondary, any way to fix this?
Renegade Winch Bumper from Justin in Red Deer
After searching several forums about an exact fit of the winch I want I can't find any specific information but the overall feedback on these bumpers is great!
Does anyone here have experience with these bumpers and a Superwinch Terra35 on their Renegade? Just curious if that winch will fit. Not sure if it matters but I have a 2013 Renegade 800r xXC.
The description on the ebay listing reads like this:
"Built to fit the warn winches up to 3500 lb (other winches will fit but test fit them inside the bumper before purchasing a winch to ensure fitment as winch mounts inside the bumper itself"
So I want to make sure before I pull the plug on a winch and find it doesn't fit.
Thanks!

850 built motor project
Has anyone built one of these motors yet!?
Ive looked everywhere even through scrambler threads and cant find a built motor. Ive seen one video of cecco racings quad with pistons and a cam making 58hp.
They no longer make that piston and cam so that dosnt count..
Im in the process of building my motor now and cant find any info on JE pistons, speedwerks camshaft and thier ported head. This is the route i will most likely take but if i can find someone to shine some light in my direction it would be nice.

XT Handlebar protection kit opinions
Hey guys got a base model outty and gonna throw some hand gaurds on more for wind protection. What are your opinions on the black gaurds that come on the xt models? I know there pretty basic but I like the basic black. Just more wondering if there flimsy or not. Thanks
Throttle Body Help!
I'm new to this so bare with me, I got a 08' outty 840, ordered a 54mm throttle body to put in place of the stock 46mm, I got it in and sounds like it's in home limp mode, won't barely idle. Someone said it's the TPS and try to use the 46mm TPS but it's still doing it, I don't know what else to do
Led Headlights
Hey guys,
looking to add Led headlights to my 2014 outlander max. What is everyone using. I see quite a few lights company are using fans to cool the lights. I don't think in mud and water they would last very long. Just wondering what people are using?
Night eye has a heatsink style, but I don't see many guys on here saying what brands they are using.

Predator 50, no lights or starter
Just picked up a Predator 50 for my grandson, the machine runs great, but I have to kick start it.
It has no lights and the starter doesn't work, I have checked both fuses and not sure where to look next?

Xplorer 300, cold starting issues
My Xplorer 300 is a pain to start when the engine is cold. Particularly if it's been sitting for a week or more.
It might require a minute of cranking. I'm a bit concerned I'm going to damage the starter. Then all of a sudden it starts right up.
Once it starts, I can shut the engine off and it not even be warmed up (like after 30 seconds) and it fires right up within 1 second, even with one pull of the recoil starter.
And it runs fine, idles smooth, has plenty of power and never stalls. When we went trail riding the other day for 30 miles, it never hesitated to start and I shut the engine off about 20 times.
I'm wondering if it's something I'm doing (flooding it out) or it's an issue with the carburetor.
Yesterday I tried starting it without the "choke" or "fuel enrichment valve" as I'd like to call it. That didn't work.
One thing I might be doing wrong is holding the throttle open while trying to crank the engine over.
I'm thinking maybe the thing is to turn the fuel tap on and leave it on for a few minutes before trying to start it. Maybe it's an issue where the fuel bowel doesn't have any fuel and it's just a matter of letting it refill? The fuel filter I'm using is a standard 1/4" lawn mower fuel filter. Which is actually bigger. Not the tiny one that is supposed to go on it.
I know the fuel enrichment valve is working because I can flip it on when the engine is running and it either stalls or idles poorly like it's getting too much fuel.
I've yet to install a "new" spark plug but beadblasted and gapped the one that came with it. I realize I can buy of of these at any autopart store. It was just easier to bead blast it at the time.
So does this sound like a carburetor , ignition or cold starting technique issue? Any ideas?
I guess if push comes to shove, whenever the bike is stone cold, just give it a shot of ether and be done with it. But that sounds like a band aid solution. I think it's something I am doing wrong.
Another thing. The battery maybe getting a bit tired. Could it be the engine is not spinning fast enough to start? Yesterday I turned it over for about a minute which leads me to believe if the battery was that weak, it would not spin the starter for a minute.
