Hi all! I live in Tucson, AZ and just picked up a Polaris Trail Boss. Seems like a good place with some great knowledge.
2000 magnum 325 temp light and fan issue
First time poster, I?ve been going through the archives on this site looking for answers, I?ve found some but I am up against a wall now.
So my temp light and fan stay on all the time. I?ve replaced the thermostat and the LR 60.
Now when I turn they key on the light takes a second to come on, then
It does and the fan starts. I?d like to avoid smoking these components if possible.
Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance

New member searching for HELP!
Hey guys, need help diagnosing a "FAIL" message on my display. The snow will be coming soon and I use my Outtie 400 Max to plow our road. Any thoughts on what this could be would be greatly appreciated so hopefully I can resolve this problem.
Noob with a 6×6
Greetings from Winnipeg MB.
Total newbie here that just bought a 2008 Sportsman 6x6 with the accessory tracks.
It's got 800 miles and seems to be in great shape.
I'll be using it to run around the property I have on an island on Lake of the Woods.
I subdivided some acreage and have a few lots to clear and develop for sale.
It was a bit of an impulse buy but you don't seem to see too many like this around and I figured I'd better snatch it up before someone else does.
Got it from a dealer who went over it thoroughly and provided a list of all the things they did.

South Dakota Black Hills National Forest
South Dakota s Black Hills National Forest has numerous 62" ATV trails. One good set of trails are within two miles of Rapid City; the Shanks Quarry Trailhead has ATV trails, single-track trails and even rock crawler trails. ATV Trails Shanks Quarry Trailhead (Rapid City)
27 silverback tread peeling off.
I picked up a set of silverback tires on itp plain wheels from a guy local here the tires are all over an inch of tread but I noticed one started to kind of peel up on 3 of the short lugs on the tires. Then I looked it up and it seems to be a pretty common problem with the 27s. Anyone have any input on how I can get this fixed?
Predator 90 Only runs off idle with choke on
This is a stock jug unit with a fatty pipe and rejetted carb (from years ago and I can't even remember what else was done to it, lol) Makes me think there is a gummed up carb but this is a sudden change that makes me wonder. It ran find a few days ago. Zero issues. Last evening it would start up great and idle fine but would sputter out under throttle. I finally figured if I would hold the choke on a little but, I could run it full out with no problem. Seems to me unlikely it is a gummed up carb but that's how it acts. Before I rip the carb apart to clean it, what else could this be?
New Member – Question on Outlander 400 problem with gear engagement
Hello - new member here - found this forum searching for information about a problem with my 2004 Outlander 400 Max - would appreciate any help you might be able to offer.
Here is the problem: when I shift into reverse or high, the quad shifts easily into the correct gear location, but behaves as if it is still in neutral. Rocking back and forth does not help. After revving the throttle gentle, it will eventually engage most of the time, but I'm concerned this will eventually not work.
Here is a recent issue that I think is related to the problem. I drove the ATV and heard a grinding sound coming from the clutch/drive belt compartment. I removed the cover and the intake/exhaust hoses and found the exhaust port completely plugged with acorns and nesting material (chipmunks!) - the grinding sounds was acorns bouncing around in the case. I cleaned the compartment and reassembled. The problem I am having with entering gear coincides with this issue.
I am assuming that I may have overheated the belt and/or created a clutch issue, but I hope to hear what you all think. Thank you! Cheers!

1995 Trail Boss Cranking issues
I rebuilt my carb on my 1995 Trail Boss. Fired right up and rode for about 30 minutes or so till it started bogging down like it was flooding. Now it will not crank at all with everything hooked up. I replaced plug as well. Weird thing is the quad will fire right up with the slide and needle pulled out. Please help!
