phoenix 200 choke cable

Hi all,

So i have a 2005 200 phoenix and when I move the choke lever, the cable does not slide through the jacket but bends out.
When I manually slide the cable it seems ok. The cable is kinked a little from previous owners but before I ordered a new one for $35, I wanted to reach out to the forum.
Attached are two pics.

Polaris Nylok Nuts

So I have a 2013 Sportsman Big Boss 800 that I purchased last Spring. Unfortunately I discovered like 10 frame breaks on it. Not a great introduction to owning my first ATV! I tore it down to the frame and had a welder fix me up with gusset welds and reinforcements. Then I POR15’d it. Now I am finally putting it back together and I’m wondering if I really need to replace every nylok lock-nut that I pulled off? I’m thinking that reusing the prior nuts and adding some blue thread locker should be fine so long as they don’t look too terrible. Anybody have any bad experiences from reusing their nylon lock-nuts?

Hello Can Am folks!

3/8/19
I've decided to join this forum after owning a Can Am Outlander 800 Max since 2006. I bent a push tube while breaking through a snow wall and started researching plow systems for ATV's. The original Cycle Country plow has become obsolete! It came down to two brands that I wanted: KFI and Can Am. I just bought a new Can Am 60" State plow and push tube assembly from Todd at TMW in Sitka, Alaska. KFI was very attractive to me, but the shipping cost to Alaska would've been significant. I watched a You Tube video of a big Can Am ATV with a Can Am plow pushing through snow deeper than most ATV's can handle. That sold me on Can Am. I'd visited this forum seeking useful information on plows but wound up doing my own research and made several phone calls to dealers around the USA before making my decision.:smile

Hello from a newbie with 2001 Trail Boss 325

Hello Guys!
I just became a proud owner of 2001 Trail Boss 325 for free courtesy of my neighbor, whose Honda Quad I got running after 6 years under a tarp in the back yard.

Well, Boss came to me in pieces with some nuts and bolts missing, carb put back together with half of the bolts, broken seat, broken throttle lever, chain rusted out, brakes almost metal on metal, rear master shot and body that was repainted by a brush! Other than that I was told it ran great last time (might be years!) ago! LMAO! Beware of "FREE" vehicles!

I started hunting for parts on eBay, Amazon, Bike Bandit, ..... Any particular place that you guys can recommend from personal experience?

Also when I checked into throttle lever switch, there are multiple part numbers all over the place yet they all look exactly the same to me from that era. Am I right? Can I instead of p/n:2010204 use p/n:2010335 which was a "B" option on BIke Bandit? I mean if my Boss came with one p/n can I just buy the other p/n, or even from a different machine and just swap them as long as they have a throttle safety switch in it? Prices seem to vary significantly.
This is going to be a fun project and I am not trying to be sarcastic. I am a professional mechanic by trade and worked on far more complex vehicles as well as some very old classic restorations.

Thanks Guys!

What are the woods racers and fast trail guys running.

Hello everyone! Slowly working on getting the renegade built for fast trail riding. Time for wheels and tires. I'm dead set on dirt commander's. I'm torn between 27/9 and 28/10. I will be running same size tire all the way around. The 28's are 4lbs heavier. But I've heard they run small that's why I'm even considering a 28. I just don't like the sound of running 10 wides in all 4 corners. Anybody with pictures of eaither set up?
