1) What rim and bolt pattern do I want for a 14" rim, to keep the stock size, but give it a 2" offset per rim, for a 4" wider stance? I did that on my 570 and the wider stance was very nice in the turns, giving it a more planted and less "tippy" feeling in fast turns... Would new offset rims be the best way to do this, or should I get spacers? I don't need fancy rims, I don't care about bling... they get all scratched and banged up anyways... Just want the quad to be a bit wider at the wheels and more stable at higher speeds...
2) How does one slow down the EPS at speed? I love the power steering when stopped or doing slow technical stuff, but when you are ripping down an open trail at 45mph+ the EPS makes the bike very sensitive and twitchy. Being electronic, I would have expected that the ECU would keep the amount of EPS proportional to the speed, but it doesn't feel that way... Is there a workaround? One thing I have considered is finding a way to fit a steering damper, like you would use on a street bike... Thoughts?
