Sportsman 500 Starter Bendix Bushing
Hello,
I need to replace my noisy starter bendix and I see the thrust washer behind it was missing. I can get the return spring for about half the cost of a new bendix. Would keeping the OEM bendix with new spring be better than cheap replacement?
Also, any idea how snug the bendix should fit in either the recoil or case bushing? Mine has some side to side play when tipping the bendix back and forth with it out of the machine.
Thanks for any help in advance!

Can-Am Renegade Wheel Spacers
Hi, I'm new to this forum and I was wondering if anyone could help me out...
Basically, I love the look and feel of Renegades with wheel spacers. It's super easy to find some for the 800's and 1000's but cannot find any for my 570. I'd be running stock wheels front and back. I'm not sure what size to go with but probably 1.5 in front and 1 in back. The ones I found are $200+ and was hoping there's a better solution. Someone help please! thank you

Polaris 250 Carb issues
Ok so we got a 1992 Polaris trail boss 250 2X4 it had been sitting for a year or so. It started fine but it leaked like crazy. We replaced the fuel line, intake boot from carb to cylinder and did a carb rebuild kit for it and used compressed air and carb cleaner to blow out the carb. Everything was set to factory spec, throttle needle in 3rd slot, 1 turn out on idle mixture, float adjusted to parallel to gasket surface 145 main jet etc. Choke cable and oil cable also adjusted to factory. Now it is harder to start but when started it idles fine but when you punch the throttle it dies or just barely stays alive. I can easily roll into the throttle up to wot just fine but any aggressive movement on the throttle and it bogs down or dies. It also is slow to return to idle rpms so I think it's lean. I've sprayed starting fluid around everything when idling and had no changes in rpms so I don't think I have a leak. I also put duct tape over half of the intake opening which helped it but it still wouldn't rev up from idle. Compression is right at 100psi and also has a new spark plug with correct gap. also have good fuel flow from fuel line at carb when fuel is turned on. What am I missing here?
2014 Outlander Max 400 Limp Mode???
I have a good friend of mine that has a 2014 Outlander Max XT 400 that runs great MOST of the time however; every once in a while the engine light comes on at start up and the quad goes into limp mode. He took it to the dealer and they check the machine out and found nothing. The did say they "updated" it with BUDS and checked the engine grounds. After having it at the dealer is had done this again.
Anyone have this issue or have any thing we can look at? It appears the dealer has no idea where to go from here:th_smiliefrustrated
One more thing, he bought this quad NEW last year and does not ride much. It only has about 200 miles on it.

STI Outback Max Tires 30×10-14 on my 2013??
Has anyone installed the STI Outback Max 30 x 10 x 14's on their XMR 1000? I have a 2013 and am looking at buying these however; I have some concern with clearance on the front because the STI's are 10 wide and more of a squared off tire. My XMR is stock and I plan to install these tires on the ITP SS312 wheels that came on the quad.
500 sportsman x2 efi

Rear Brake via Foot Pedal
I found a frozen rear caliper. Replaced it, bled the brakes and got some air and a little fluid out of the pedal each pump up. Handlebar brakes bled perfect and work fine. The foot pedal does nothing toward stopping and is not stiff at all. What do I look at next? Master Cylinder or does it have its own reservoir?
1993 250 2×4 clutch cover
Evening everyone.
Picked up a 1993 250 2x4 (basically a Trail Boss 250) a few months ago. Went through the machine and fixed lots of stupid stuff and so on on. Last thing I've got an issue with is the clutch cover. The inner cover is the correct year, the outer cover is not, is also has horrible rub and melting marks as well as the awful sound when running it.
Been trying to find the "proper year" outer cover hasn't worked too well. I know the 2 and 4 stroke machines have a slight different placement for clutches and covers. But would I be able to pull an inner and outer cover assembly from the 1996-2005ish generation of 2 strokes? If I could that'd be great news, as there's a hell of alot more of those available.
Thanks for your time.

03 magnum 330 dies won’t rev up!
I recently purchased an 03 magnum 330. It was running fine until yesterday. I turned it on (from a cold start) it was idling good but when I revd it up it wasn't getting full power so I decided to pull the choke. After about 10 seconds it shut off. It would turn back on but then shut off. At first I just thought it was flooded but after I waited a few it kept doing the same. I finally got it to idle again but then it would cut off if I gave it the slightest bit on gas... someone HELP!!
