Help !! Won’t re start and no codes

Hi I'm new to the forum and to can am. So far I'm impressed. I have a 2007 outlander 500. The problem is : it starts and runs perfectly but if I turn the engine off it will not re-start til the entire display goes off. Otherwise the check engine light comes on and won't go off until you let it shut down completely. I've checked for p codes and it says " active p codes check engine end "
Nothing else is displayed have not been able to find a code. It does the same thing if the engine isn't started but just the key turned to the start position and turned off check engine light back on. Any help is appreciated

Question For Anyone With The Canam Mudguards

I've read several different posts that Canam uses self tapping screws to mount their mud guard kit to the fenders for the Gen 2 bigger bore machines. Is this still true or have they updated the mounting hardware? I'm especially interested to hear from anyone with a newer 1000 Outty on this.

I have run Direction 2 Fender Extensions in the past and they actually bolt to the fenders and are very rugged. I do however prefer the look and style of the Canam kit but really would like something more rugged than just screws holding them on.

What is this tube?

I could really use some help. There is a clear tube coming out of the frame near the seat on the left side. Where does it connect to? It's about a foot long.

2000 Scrambler 500 4x4.

Thanks in advance.

2015 or 2017 ACE 570

While looking to snatch up the '17 rebate, a dealer tossed out a ridiculous price on leftover '15. Anything new and improved from '15 to '17 that should make me think 2017? Also, what about eps, worth the 1k?

Mike

Who needs a snowmobile (first 100 miles impressions)

Great ride today in North Boise, ID. Started at about 4500ft, climbed to 7000+ and there found snow.
The descent back was really fun (I tend to enjoy more roads that I have already seen and checked the grip - it's the rally codriver in me :D)
Very nimble chassis, impressed with how well the shocks perform and suspension geometry absorbs bumps and washouts. Great brake balance, 4x4 F+R power distribution and CVT transmission. 570cc is plenty for me, more than that and it would be recipe for disaster. The machine really shone on snow in my opinion. Very controllable and manageable even in sections where I went from snow to slush to wet clay and vice versa. :fing02:

Aftermarket clutch question

Hello, new to the forums and I just picked up a 2008 Sportsman 800 with only 29.8 hours and 283 miles on it. The guy I bought it from bought it to go screw around in the desert with some Russian business partners and once they parted ways he stopped riding. I bought it to be a hunting rig and to do some occasional trail riding.

The previous owner installed an FMF muffler which I’ll be taking off and replacing with stock and an aftermarket clutch kit. The Quad runs great but it has to rev pretty high before it’ll start moving (maybe 1/3 throttle?) and then it pulls really hard. I forgot to look at the tach when I was testing it out earlier today to see just when it’s starting to engage. I’m guessing this is most likely due to an aggressive aftermarket primary clutch kit, right? I have the original components, I’ve just never had a CVT Quad before (I’ve raced LTR450s for years) so I want to make sure I’m headed in the right direction. Thanks for any help you can provide!
