So I'm having issues getting power from my key switch. I've got 12 volts going into it, but only 2 going to my solenoid. I replaced the switch last night and everything seemed to work fine, then suddenly back to nothing. I'm not sure if something is shorting out and frying the switches or if I have a loose wire in the plug going to the switch. Anyone know of where I can find a replacement wire mold so I can solder it in, or has anyone replaced the keyswitch with a cheap 2 way toggle and push button to the solenoid? Any help is appreciated
Sportsman 570 (2017) – Gear shifter disconnects from linkage
Hello,
After driving in heavy terrain for a total of 50 hours, the gear shifter on my Sportsman 570 (2017) fell off the linkage to the gear box. As a consequence I often have to remove the side cover to mount the gear shifter with the linkage to gear box.
My question is, which parts am I missing to fix the connection with the gear shifter and the linkage to gear box?

Power Steering Connections
Anybody know how hard it would be to get to the power steering connections on a 17 Sportsman 850? Every time I go on a ride and get in any water that can splash up high my steering goes crazy, almost like it wants to steer itself. I'm wanting to put some di-electric grease in the connectors, just wondering how hard it is to get to them.

Polaris 3500 winch questions
My dad rides a 2011 550 that has a Polaris 3500 winch mounted with the factory mount. The freewheel is jammed on it and the winch quit working, it just clicks but won't spool in or out. I was going to remove the winch to clean it up on the bench and the cable connections were so rusted that the stud broke off the motor trying to remove the cable. He does a lot of riding in wet areas with multiple stream crossings and I'm guessing that contributed to the demise of the current winch. the factory mount sits pretty low in the front so it's under water a lot.
Is it possible to just buy the Polaris winch without the mounting brackets and fairlead? I can't find a part number anywhere on the winch.
Or is there a different winch that is sealed better than the Polaris OEM? I've seen one Badlands winch that says it is IP67 rated which is 3' of water for 1 minute. Not great, but I don't see any IP ratings on any other branded winches. Also, the Polaris winch mounts from the top and every other brand I've looked at mounts from the bottom, so I'm assuming they won't work with the factory mount.
Which winch would you install?

2016 Outlander 1000, Help
Ive got 200 miles on my machine and I can't seem to track down a metallic snap noise while driving under normal conditions. It is coming from the rear center area of the machine. I can duplicate the sound by manually rocking the bike back and forth. I cant tell if its bad bushing(s) in one of the shocks or sway bars. Ive already had mud N wheels rebuild the lousy stock diff... Does anyone know anything about this??
New Outlander from Pittsburgh PA – TIRE HELP
Hi Everyone,
I'm Ryan from Pittsburgh. I ride down near Deep Creek Maryland. I have an 02' Honda 300ex, 99' Honda Fourtrax 300 and just recently a 2009 Outlander 800r XT.
The Outlander is a blast but my first upgrade (other than new break pads) will be new tires. My fronts are essentially bald but the backs are still pretty healthy.
My father in law has Kenda Executioners and they are nasty! I'm looking into those based on their wear life (so far minimal wear after 4 years and we ride lots and lots of dirt/gravel roads, rock/boulder hill climbs, mud and water).
The other two i'm looking at are Outlaws (gen 1 or 2) and Silverbacks (MT2's are too expensive).
QUESTION: Anyone on here have an Outlander 800r with STOCK wheels but upgrades tires? I am bone stock and looking to keep my wheels but upgrade tires. Would 28" fit? I've been reading that 28" Outlaws fit great without wear, zero lift, zero spacers and stock wheels - just need someone to confirm that!
Thanks,
Ryan
