Apologies for not removing the clutch/belt cover before hand. It maybe obvious once it's removed.
I noticed the other day after shutting off the engine that there was a noise coming from the engine. Today I started it up and got closer to the engine and could hear something rubbing against the plastic centrifugal clutch cover, right where the centrifugal clutch is located. When I shut the engine off, it sounds worse for about 1 second. It's a metal to plastic noise.
I have not had a chance to pull the cover but once I do what would I find? My guess would be the centrifugal clutch has backed off the engine. Perhaps the bolt that holds it on has worked loose?
Otherwise the clutch does not slip.
Anybody ever had this happen before?
