sputtering when hotter

06 800. I have been using the bike to pull some harrows around the acreage. I have issues after about 30 mins of pulling hard. Starts sputtering when throttle pushed. Usually about half throttle it wakes up. Then over a few more minutes I loose all power and can barely limp back to shop. If I shut off the engine for 15 minutes it all good for about another 15-20 minutes.

Engine was rebuilt this spring (rod bearing spun). Started doing this a few months ago and I changed out the fuel pump and filter. Tank was very clean. No codes or warnings. The engine seems to be fairly hot but I can hear/see the fan cycling on and off. It seemed like after the pump change it was all good but I didnt really have time to work it hard more than a few times.

Any ideas what else it could be? I might have to hook up a gauge to test my fuel pressure.

Grinding noise when braking

Recencently bought a 2007 renegade, had it out a few times and when breaking I hear a grinding sound. I thought It was probably the pads but my friend just heard it and thinks it might be gears grinding, can't really figure out were It is ocoming from, it seems more noticable at low speeds when I let off the gas and get right on the break like loading it in my truck so I don't ram the front, I tried rolling it and hitting the breaks with No noise. Has any one else seen this issue, is it normal, a simple adjustment or am I gonna be into major chain case, tranny or diff work, also doesn't matter if in forward or reverse, any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

330 Trail Boss running with a 850 Sportsman

I just got back from a week in northern Michigan with my 330 Trail Boss running the trails on a 300 acre Lodge. It was a family reunion / my wife and my 50th wedding anniversary with 32 family members. My gran-daughters boyfriend brought a 850 Sportsman. With exception of the straight a ways the 850cc's are not necessary, but when I had opportunity to drive it it was a big "Oh WOW". The refinements of the newer quad, independent suspension, sway bar, power steering and fuel injection sure makes it a different ride. But reality set in, I have $1300 invested including new rear brakes, new front tires and all lubes and filters changed compared to the 850 crowding $10k I'm well satisfied with my 330.

Considering a Sportsman 570 SP?

Back in the 2005 or 2006 era I bought a used Sportsman 500HO. The plastics were cheap and broke and I hated the engine braking in loose steep stuff and I was not a fan of 1 brake lever and all brakes applied simultaneously. I sold it for what I paid for it and bought a new Kingquad 750 EPS. I loved the big zook. My wife had a KQ400 athe time too. We are in our mid 60s and my wife decided she no longer had the stamina to ride her own quad and we sold them both and bought a Yamaha Wolverine EPS side by side. My wife is now no longer going out at all and I miss riding the ATV, plus an ATV is much more maneuverable for snow plowing. I have sold my Wolvie and my local dealer now carries Polaris in addition to Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Honda. Because we are in a relatively small town, the dealer sells far more UTVs than ATVs. I looked at the Grizzly, King Quads, and I sat on a new Polaris Sportsman 570 SP. I haven't ridden them yet, but the ergos, color, suspension, and storage on the SP are really appealing to me. I have long legs and I ride with a prosthetic left leg so the ergos are perhaps the most important part to me. Coming up in 3 weeks I will be going on an annual ride that I promote. It is 220 miles from my door to my door. We do it in one day and we are coming home in the dark. Fuel range is important, but I carry 4g of gas in a Rotopak. I might need supplemental lighting. Are the new Sportsman better than the early ones. My dealer doesn't have a King 750, but he does have a KingQuad 500 EPS and he has the 570 SP.
What are the voices of experience thinking here? I will test ride Tuesday.

2017 Polaris SP driven with the parking brake on.

Hello, a friend of mine took my 850 sp for a ride and after about 2 minutes of him riding it I noticed it riding funny. Come to find out he had the parking brake on the whole time. Now it seems to jerk back and forth at low speeds. It drives fine at high speeds and brakes still work great. Would anyone know what this jerking/sputtering issue would be? I feel as it shouldn't have done Much damage besides maybe a little more wear on the brakes. But this jerking/sputtering has me a little nervous. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
