Might sale my Reno XMR

Hey guys, I need some opinions. I bought a 2017 Reno 1000 XMR back in January. It is awesome but life has gotten in the way of my riding for fun. I really need a side by side for the Farm really bad so I am think about getting ride of my Reno for a Defender. Maybe when life slows down a bit i can get me another one. Wish I could keep it but can't have both. What is peoples opinion on how much it might be worth? I know I will take some of a hit but was hoping not to big of one. I bought it new in January and it only has 8 hrs on it. Has just been sitting in my garage (looks brand new).

Battery for sportsman 700 ($)

Hi all,
My sportsman 700 needs a battery. I'm looking around and they seem to run $100 to $150. is that normal?

I recall 300 cca batteries for the lawn tractors and they run $25-$35 at sears or wal mart.

Is there a more economical alternative?

I see many motorcycle batteries at wal mart for $40-$50 that are a bit skinnier then the stock polaris theyre the same height and length but theyre skinnier at 3.5" and the cca's arent listed. am wondering if one of those would work. I'm aware I've got two cylinders and it needs some cca's.

Help. Is there a way to limit speed or throttle?

Hello Everyone. I was wondering if there was a way to limit speed or throttle on my 03 Predator 500. I am going to be getting a second one for my friend to use, but convinced he'll hurt himself with free throttle control. Thanks for any help, it's appreciated!

Battery Question

I just picked up my new Sportsman 570 on Saturday. The battery had 11.3 volts when I picked it up. The salesman said that was normal and it would improve with use. On a tender it turns green at 11.7 on the gauge. While running the gauge reads 13.5-14. I always thought a good battery was around 12.5 ish. Should I ask for a new battery Or Is This Ok? The bike makes a few noises after it shut off. The noises sound electrical. Is this normal? 2017 570 EPS.

Thank You

Photos From My Second ATV Ride

I just got back from my second trail ride. What a great experience here in Colorado. My Arctic Cat friends and one of their friends loaded up and drove about 90 minutes from my place. This trail was in the Pike National Forest near the little town of Jefferson, Colorado. It was an "Jeep" trail meaning we share the trail with on highway vehicles. I was on the only Can Am I saw today. Here is a little photo log:

I got to ride with a 87 Honda Fourtrax 350. Same owner the last 30 years, he bought it new. A vintage ATV for sure:

We saw mountain goats along the trail. Looks like I caught one of them at a bad time. Embarrassing.

We could see the Breckenridge Ski area after we crossed Georgia Pass. There are a lot of ATV trails in this area.

We took a lunch break at the Wapiti Mine Company office ruins. My friends say the old building collapsed last winter. The snow can get 10' deep here in the winter. It wouldn't be a great place to spend the winter, but people did.

Last but not least, we met another family out on the trail. They were riding everything from side by sides to dirt bikes. All together there were 5 Arctic Cats there. Herding cats. They take a family vacation in this area and ride everyday for a week. We had a wonderful chit-chat about ATVs and all that we had seen. You meet the nicest people on an ATV.

My second trail ride was a great as my first. I can't wait until the next opportunity.

28in tires

Would putting 28in black water evos on my sportsman 850 make it really tippy climbing hills? I want 28in tires for the clearance but I also don't want to roll my Atv down a hill either. Any suggestions?
