Hello,
The Warn A2000 winch on my atv has failed. All I need a winch to do is raise and lower the plow blade. What is my cheapest and most reasonable replacement that will fit?
I talked to Warn and they believed that a "vantage" or "pro-vantage" model (discontinued) would fit with same bolt pattern (3 x 4.87") but that I would need to replace switch and compactor/solenoid also...
But, What's the cheapest way to go? Can I get a $50 winch at Harbor Freight and use existing switch/solenoid?

Hello again, So my front drive clutch has seen better days, Its starting to dish out at the engagement area and its noticeable while riding. So i'm either going to buy a used one that's in better shape and hope for the best or go aftermarket. The only clutches i've found aftermarket that aren't crazy money are crappy china stuff and comet clutches. The comet was a 130 hpq. ready to go at about 300 bucks. Not bad. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with these. it says its engagement is @ 2400 rpm. Just not sure what way to go. :thinking:

Cam-Defender when driving the bed and side panels shakes and vibrate really bad

Just wanted to see if anyone out there has any recommendations on putting speakers&audio into the maverick x3 xmr turbo? Don’t want to pay thousands, but want good quality. Bonus points if you had it installed in the Atlanta area.

Anyone with the PF1 Guru front bumper have fender flares? Making sure they will fit together.

Also does anyone have attached fender flares? If so how far do they stick out beyond the back of the ATV?

Just joined, recently purchased a 2018 Sportsman 850 w/ Kolpin plow.

Looking to find good info and possibly accessories down the road.

I know the North Edition has a extra low gear. Aside from that, is the rest of the gearing the same? Will the machine performethe same 850 Xt model. I am considering buying 850 North Edition for work and play. Every dealer I get different answer.

Went to plow my driveway to find out my ATV would not turn over.
I have a 2001 Sportsman 550 HO.

Winch will go up and down when turned on, lights are working.

Battery is fully charged and less than a year old; tested with multi meter and getting 13 amps

Current is passing through the Starter Solenoid and i am seeing 12amps to both posts from battery; tried to jump the solenoid via a screw driver and it will not turn over.

Current is getting to the negative side of the starter, but does not appear to be getting to the positive side.

Am I looking at a bad starter or bad solenoid? Or worse a dead engine.

I am putting out a feeler for anyone looking to bring a unique style or flare to their XMR with a custom radiator cover. I am currently working on a map of Canada cover for myself, and am working with a friend and his metalworking company to bring some ideas to market.
