2007 Outlander 800 Rebuild

Hello Folks,

Rebuilding 07 Outlander 800. Spun a rod bearing. Looking for some tips and things i might be forgetting before i tackle the rebuild.

Going to put a new crank, bearing (both crank and rod) new pistons, jugs and timing chains and guides. Wondering if their is anything else i should be putting in now that i have it tore apart. Oil Pump?? Water pump??

Either going to go with MR RPM parts or with NICHE parts I have found online. Never heard of NICHE before anyone ever use them?? They are about 350 bucks cheaper for everything than MR RPM. Have heard lots of good things about Mr RPM.

Anything else i should be doing?? Never done a 4 stroke rebuild before. Want this one to be my only one for a while.

Master cylinder polaris ranger 500 6×6 1999 fail.

Hello.

I've got an old 1999 ranger 6x6. The master cylinder (1930880) is stuck all the way in.
It has a lot of rust on it and I seem unable to get it apart without braking it.
I have had no luck in finding a replacement part for this particular cylinder.
Not New or used.
The distance between the holes is 3in. And the ones I have found have less distance between the holes.

Does anyone know of a replacement-/aftermarked part that could fit?

Outlander headlights

I see a lot of folks switching out their OEM H-11 and 9005s for LED lights and so on and a thought arose..

How many of you spend a lot of time Riding in the DARK ?

Hello from Illinois !!

I just joined yesterday a couple of hours after purchasing a 1997 Trail boss 250. It has a couple of issues and look forward to fixing them and talking to you fellow Polaris enthusiasts.

Old fat new guy.

Just checking in.
I am in the lowbuck end of the Polaris rebuild deal.I was given 2 Sportsmans a 2009 800 EFI,HO, And a 2000 500 4x4. Don't get excited they were both D.O.A. the 500 sat outside with the seat off (Lost) and the crancase had about 2 quarts of water in it. I thought it was a large door stop, when I tryed to pull it through I just broke the starter rope. Then the weather warmed up for a few days and that is when I drained the half gallon of water out, it was frozen befor the warm up and acted like rust in the Cyl. I dumped 10-30W down the plug hole and put a braker bar on the flywheel nut and it rolled though just fine. Now about the 800 it fell off a farmers flatbed truck and went end over end into the ditch you can figure out how that turned out. It also needs a seat(or a seat pan) I can do upholstery. If any body has a seat pan contact me with the price and I will be happy to get back to you.
Thanks Tom Wecas in WY

Packing List

Hey guys I tried searching the forum for an all inclusive list of items to pack for a 2 day trail ride. There might be one floating around somewhere, but I couldn’t find it. This will be my first trail ride on our new defender HD8 max with my family of six. What are your guys thought on things I should definitely pack? We will be riding out and back each day so I do not believe fuel will be a problem. BTW if any of you are in the area, we are gonna ride the Doe Mountain adventure trails in mountain city, TN the last week in March.

New to forum

highlifter 2″ lift removal question

bought my gade with a 2" bracket lift from highlifter on it, finally decided im going to be taking it off. looking at the kit online it comes with tie rods, and sway bar brackets. so when i remove the actual brackets on the suspension lifting it, will i have to revert back to stock tie rods and sway bar brackets? not sure if im allowed to post links but it is the " 1.5" Signature Series Lift Kit Can-Am Outlander/Renegade " however an earlier version as my bike is a 2013 and the previous owner put it on back then. any help would be appreciated
