Polaris sportsman 570 2019 Speed limiter

Hi, i was wondering if anyone knows how to remove the speed limiter on the sportsman 570 2019 model, as mine is registered to 40km/h. I live in Norway where the dealer won't remove the speed limiter because of the newest laws, any suggestions would be great.

Stator working, no measurable draw, co Stanton dead batteries

HISTORY
Sorry if this ends up a bit long. Just trying to describe the history of my bike.

2013 Sportsman 500. Only aftermarket electrical accessory is a venom winch was installed immediately after purchasing. The factory battery worked fine from 2013 to 2017. When it quit working last year I attributed it to the batteries age and reached it. I bought an autolight AGM battery it worked okay throughout the summer of 2017 but by spring 2018 it had also given up the ghost. I kept the quad on a battery tender over that winter. After repeated charging it would read 11.5V but would rise to about 14.3V while the quad was running which made me believe the stator was working properly.

Thinking that the Autolight AGM battery was crap I purchased a Yuasa from Summit last spring. It too worked fine over the summer of 2018. This spring I've had the same problems I had with the AGM battery. Is the quad sits more than a day or two without being ran the battery will die.

CURRENT DAY.
I put my charger on the battery overnight. Tested the voltage today and it was 12.5V. I then started the quad and the voltage measured 14.3V and held consistant.

Next I pulled the negative terminal off the battery and checked for parasitic current draw. I get nothing measurable on the 200mA setting which is as low as mine goes.

I then pulled the reg/rec from the quad to bench test. I performed a diode test with the following results:
Forward bias, wire 1, 0.389v
Forward bias, wire 2, 0.390v
Forward bias, wire 3, 0.389v
Reverse bias, wire 1, OL
Reverse bias, wire 2, OL
Reverse bias, wire 3, 1.350v for a split second then OL.

The split second reading across the third wire is consistent every time. I've never seen this happen on a diode test. It's the only wire it happens on.

Does this indicate a faulty Regulator?

I'm kind of at wits end. With no parasitic draws obvious I'm not sure where to go next other than replace the red. But considering the 3 forward readings were all consistent it make me wonder.

2019 Sportsman 850 to 1000 engine swap

So my buddy swamped my brand new 850 Touring SP with only 7.6 hours on it lol and the engine is toast. I’m going to be putting a 2018 1000 engine in it because I got a good price on a used one. I’ve been cross referencing part numbers for days to make sure everything will fit but I have a couple questions.....

Does anyone know:

1. Can I re use my 850 exhaust pipes? I can’t find any info on the exhaust port sizes of the 850 vs 1000.

2. Can my 850 ECU be reprogrammed to run the 1000 since they both use the same ECU?

Any help would be appreciated.

THANKS!

2008 Polaris sportsman 500 Efi ho

hi guys new to the forum having serious problem with my sportsman first start of the day never mind what temperature it is very hard start and sometimes backfires and pops through Airbox. once it starts after 3 minutes of turning engine it cuts out on idle then i start again and runs for couple of seconds and cuts out and I keep trying and eventually stays running for longer maybe 3 to 4 mins on idle and cuts out again but really the hotter the engine gets the better it starts and runs on idle. but if you floor the throttle when it's running after getting it going it cuts out or splutters. I have a couple of videos taking off how it running and will do a cold start video tomorrow. any help greatly appreciated this bike has very little work done and hasn't being worked the last 2 years because nobody including Polaris dealer cant find the problem I fix a good few quad bikes myself but never Efi all carburated machines. so far the ecm has being changed throttle body fuel pump fuel filter spark plug and lead I also repaired wiring on engine temp sensor also. but the first time this bike came in to me and hasn't left 😤 but first thing I checked was spark and fuel was getting fuel but no spark changed the plug lead and got spark then changing this then we go back the long cranking untill it finally fires up and cuts out whenever it feels like it but runs alot longer when hot but still you hear the odd pop like it's going to shut off . it has fresh clean fuel all of the times iv tried it but also when I was changing the fuel pump which looked fine would I better to change the fuel pressure regulator. thanks in advance for help provided

Hi All

I need some assistance working on Polaris 850 2019 model. I installed a new crank and main inserts. I've timed counter balance shafts but when I install the bottom half of the case it has a gap. Any suggestions?
