Throttle extender for heated thumb control

Hello to all !
I've been looking for an extender for my throttle lever because long rides are killing my thumb !!!

My 2016 Outlander 850 Max XT came equipped with OEM heated grips and throttle control.

Can't find anything for my heated thumb control.
Many nice solutions out there but nothing for heated thumb control

If anyone found or bought something, can you please share infos.

thanks

STATELINE ATV CLUB summertime motorcycle rides

anyone on here have street bikes and want to get together in the spring , summer , or fall for some day rides m-f ?????? i just got a new bike , i know rnd has been itching to get out , anyone else ??? maybe a multiple day weekend fall color ride up north ? Stave , any good street riding out by you ? twisty , winding , rolling hills , good scenery ??? i thought about around the mineral point , darlington area and the area around where dan fargen has his rides would be a good place to do some back woods road riding . rnd and i have been trying to plan a michigan u.p. tour on the streetbikes , kinda like the show " ride with norman reedus " its a really good show . enrichening at times even , the stuff they say , do , and the people they meet makes you rethink they way you look at things sometimes . i think its on amc channel . jerry got a bike ???

ECU going to Monster for reflash

I am getting ready to send my ECU off to Monster. I have seen several members here recommend Monster so before I send it off is there any special recommendations you would have for any settings. I have a 2016 Rene 1000Xxc. Adding a Yosh slip on after I get the ECU back. Other than that it is stock. I ride in the dunes at the coast, mountain trails and in the high desert usually just chasing my two boys.

I have no problem with the engine braking and like it so I don't have to nail the brakes when stopping. I was real curious about the RPM limit and speed control settings. Should I just let the people at Monster make a setting or is there a recommendation from someone?

Bottom line I am just hoping to learn from what someone else did and loved or wished they had done before I send mine off. I would hate to miss something I should have ask for.

Thanks for any advice.

Older Magnum, Sportsman – Oil Cooler, Fan Runs, Temp light On – Issues

I was asked to post this in the Repair section - hope to help some folks...

I have a 1999 335 that uses the LR60, and am in the process of repairing them.
I have a good understanding on some of the components and have had luck replacing them.
Why the units I have went bad- NO IDEA - could of been bad connections, arcing, mud in fan causing an overload, but I have fixed a couple. I have collected a few replacement parts for the boards that are the major culprits of failure.
Also working on making my own Thermistors - Having good luck with that too.
Anyone have old LR60, or LR62, I would like to buy if they are no good.
Thanks

Riding Gear

Hey all!

I have a couple questions.. this past fall we (the mrs. and i) went on a chilly ride (40*). I wore my hunting boots and a couple layers and was just fine. The mrs. isn't as warm blooded (or as furry lol) as i. Her main source of cold was her feet and hands. She wore a pair of knock off muck boots and some warm socks, and we got some gloves that i had worn when i was a trash man years ago, but they were warmer back then (or maybe it was due to me being younger lol).

I was curious what types of boots would be best for her to wear, but still flexible enough for her?

Also, without getting hand warmers (she hasn't given the OK on those.....yet), what types of waterproof and windproof gloves would be great for that type of weather? (30-40*) We both like gloves and not "mittens".

we have purchased items to cover our mouths and necks under our helmets.

Greased the bearings on 800

Ended up greasing my rear bearings on my 800 last night. Pretty simple process and went well but a guy on Facebook told me a lot of guys are saying bad things about to much grease when you do it. So I guess my question is how much grease is to much???? Im hoping I didnt screw up now.

Rear Diff/Transmission Fill Plug

New to the Polaris world and have a general question. I have a 2018 sportsman 570 and performing 25 hr service. My question has to do with the rear diff/transmission fill plug. What is the hard plastic looking material that is blocking 95% of the fill hole? Is this normal? Why would Polaris do this? I managed to get the oil back into the machine, but what a total pain in the ass! What method are people using to fill this back up? All answers much appreciated, thanks.
