I just recently bought this machine and didn’t see this until I got it home. Everything works fine but I noticed I can see the splines on the front shaft. Does this need to get pushed back? And where can you find these replacement boots?
2005 800 Twin EFI *CLUTCH PROBLEMS*
Hello, Hopefully someone has some info to help me out. My clutch has a one way bearing that seized up. The clutch is old and should probably be rebuilt or replaced, but the parts are ridiculously expensive. Will any other clutch fit on this machine? I can get the just the bearing for this clutch, but that alone is about $130. Is there a cheaper bearing that will work?
Basically my ATV seems to have the most expensive clutch that Polaris ever made, and I'm just looking to get my machine running so I can plow my driveway. If there's another clutch that will work, please let me know! I don't care about the "engine breaking" feature, I can live without that for now.
Thank you!

stalling when wet
I have been having a problem for a few years now. The bike has not been ridden much and did not get the attention it needed while in storage. since I am starting to ride it again, I would like this taken care of.
it started out as I would cross deeper water. (around 2 ft deep) would be running fine and suddenly would act like it was out of fuel and die.
Drag it out of the water and let it dry. it would fire up and run again. aced like a flooded engine that just needed enough time for the plug to dry up.
the problem gradually got worse.
most recently I hit a puddle (maybe a couple inches deep) at speed on a field access road. lost all power coming out the other side and felt like it was going to die. I stayed on the throttle and it cleared itself and ran fine. I spent the rest of that ride dodging puddles to avoid the issue.
my first thought was maybe bad spark plug wire or connection at the coil. water getting on it causing it to ground out, no spark or no good spark fouling the plug leaving it dead in the water. Since I started looking into it I see the coil is up pretty high so I am a bit surprised if it would be a connection there. could a could the plug wire be in that bad of shape that it could be grounding out the way I am thinking just from a puddle?
Also it is just out of storage, I have not been in the water with it yet as everything here is good and frozen, but when warm it has started backfiring (only seems to be when you let off the throttle completely) this is furthering my thinking that there is a spark issue. as the current plug is showing more rich than lean. (old plug tho...)
first plan is to get a new plug and wire(I believe the wire is original and owes me nothing), but I am curious if anybody else has been through this type of an issue. Mine is a 2002 Trailblazer 250

Inner rear CV disassembly
Hi folks. Tearing into my 2003 sportsman 600 To change the CV boot on the rear axle. I typically like to remove the CV ball bearings and such so that I can clean all the old grease out and start fresh. On the inner CV on this thing I am seeing notches on the housing that does not allow me to get the ball bearings out. Is there a trick that I should be aware of? Maybe this is not serviceable. I already have the axle pulled out of the CV, but the ball bearings and race does not come out.
2016 XMR pinion gear nut removal
Anyone have any suggestions on making a tool to remove the pinion nut in the rear diff? 1.5 inch square pipe doesn't work with the xmr and I can't find a tool online for it. Any advice is appreciated.
what oil does my 06 400XT utilize? and oil filter part number?
Haven't done an oil change on the Quad. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction.
Do i need to buy Bombardier specific oil and filter? I would imagine like anything else there is aftermarket available.
if you folks know of any good online places to purchase feel free to add that info.
regards

Issues with idle
I have a 2016 Sportsman 570, and I am having idle and running issues. I have read up and done some work on my own. I have replaced the battery, went to a NGK spark plug, cleaned the air intake and filter, pulled out the filter and fuel pump and checked that, drained and put in 93 fuel in, adjusted the throttle in about a million ways and checked all of the connections. It still wont idle or run properly. Any suggestions before I spend money at the dealer?
Xxc front bumper
Good morning, has anyone put a xxc pre runner bumper on their xt? I have a 17 1000r xt brushed aluminum and want to switch it out with the xxc one. I also want to keep the winch.
